Nora was changing clothes in the office, when the phone rang. Seeing the caller, a sarcastic smile flitted across her lips, quickly vanishing, and her fierce gaze was hidden.
"Grandma, why are you calling? Do you miss me?"
The person on the other end said, "Grandchild, it's been so long since you went to Riverdale. Come back when you can. By the way, could you bring your adoptive parents over when you return?"
Nora let out a cold laugh, "Grandma, I understand. I'll be back soon, just wait a bit more."
"Alright, alright, I'll also have your brother come back once. Your father will probably call you."
After hanging up, Nora muttered, "Old hag."
Then casually threw her phone to the side.
She took out a uniquely designed necklace from her bag. If Roselyn Mercer were here, she would surely notice that this was the necklace her mom designed for her back then.
It was identical.
Nora picked up the phone and made a call, only hanging up after awhile.
Such a nuisance!
