For some time, Rune and Trina sat together talking about old times. They sat on the edge of the island with their feet dangling in the clouds after he made his request for Trina to tell him all the things he had forgotten.
"I'll endure the pain, so please, tell me everything." That was what he had said.
It did not matter if he could not remember the things that Trina told him. Nor did it matter if he could tell if the stories were true or not. Deep down inside him, he felt that she was telling the truth.
At the very least, he wanted create the memory of her telling him about those things.
"Are you alright?" Trina asked, brushing his face with her wing.
"Yeah, I am alright. It just hurts but the pain will pass." Rune winced and shook his head before turning back to her.
"Do after you failed so many times to change things before, what is it we are here to do?"
Trina smiled.
"We are here to make you stronger of course."
