Angel was having breakfast at the dinning table when Mardy walked in
". Good morning " she greeted Angel with smiles
" Look who decided to show up , Good morning to you too , by the way the name is Angel ". she replied, teasing Mardy.
" So sorry , I also forgot to tell you mine , my name is Mardy Park"
Angel waved for Elaine to serve Mardy l her own breakfast . When Mardy digged in and started eating , but she kept stealing glances at Angel who was eating delicately, cutting her steak without much effort and dipping it in her soy sauce , savoring it without oil staining her lips , Isabel was awed with her etiquette and how her mouth was moving in rhythm chewing her food with much ease.
" Aren't you eating " Angel interrupted her gaze , and Mardy flushed at being caught red handed.
" I ...am ...ea..ting " she stammered trying to form a sentence. Angel raised her eyebrow a little and smiled seeing her flushed cheeks.
". Meet me after you must have finished , we have a lot to discuss, Angel said, wiping her lips and standing up to leave . Mardy choked
on her meal when she heard Angel, but ended up nodding absentmindedly.
Angel was in the middle of a call with her secretary when she heard a faint knock on her door of her study knowing who it was that signaled her to come in .
Mardy walked in to the spacious study that was neatly arranged with the balcony facing the garden , one could feel the breeze of nature by merely standing there and looking at the flowers that graced the garden , everything in her study eludes an aura of a business woman , still standing and looking around her gaze landed on Angel who waved at her to have a seat.
She sat down for Angel to get off the phone ten minutes later, leaning back on her seat Angel crossed her legs leisurely and folded her arms.
". So who are those guys, and what do they want with you ?" Angel asked to earn a soft look from her. Mardy knew she would ask her this eventually ,but she didn't expect her to be straightforward about it. Clearing her throat, Mardy told her all that transpired between her and her father after she came back from finishing her studies from the states , and why her brother came to fetch her.
Not knowing she misunderstood him.
Listening to Mardy voice out her grief , She kept wondering why all these aristocratic families are like this arranging marriage for their children despite their children being against it , in order words sacrificing their happiness for the sake of the family. She thanked her stars that her parents are too exposed for that, to them her happiness comes first.
Heaving a sigh , " That is to say your feelings are being neglected right ? " She asked for Mardy to nod in approval ,.
". So the guy in black suit and gray tie is your brother ?" Isabel nodded yet again.

". Elliot park "
Smiling to herself she came to understand that the reason why he canceled their meeting was because of her,. but she misunderstood him thinking that he's in cohort with her father. This is getting quite interesting, she thought .
Walking out of her study with Mardy in tow she saw Jason who was waiting for her downstairs, and called to him .
" Get ready we are going to the Park's residence in an hour " she said while walking towards her bedroom for Mardy's eyes to widen . And Jason nodded in response and left to get the car ready.
Mardy's mouth hung open after hearing Angel declaration a while ago " "
"This is not happening right" she asked no one in particular. Wishing sincerely in her heart that her father will not show his true colors.
