Durrell Landon flipped through the three latest design drafts, one extremely elaborate, the wedding dress adorned with over ten thousand diamonds, as if stardust had fallen to earth.
Another draft, though very simple in cut, could be imagined to perfectly showcase Quiana Sutton's elegance.
The last one was the most sacred, and it featured a mermaid design, practically eliminating the possibility of the bride escaping.
After reviewing them, Durrell handed the drafts back to Emil, speaking lightly:
"These wedding dress designs are a world apart from the ones you gave me a month ago. Are these really your designs?"
Emil felt a tinge of guilt; these designs were all the handiwork of Alexander Skylane, who strictly instructed that Durrell must not know they were his creations.
Now that Durrell was probing, Emil had no choice but to admit under pressure.
"Of course not, these drafts are works of our team."
"Really?"
