The rift opened as Scarlet dropped out from it, landing on a roof top, her Grimm arm pulsed as she winched. She cursed under her breath, but dealt with it the best she could, she couldn't afford to let it distract her.
She sniffed the air, something seemed off. She could smell new scents, someone who smelt like Goku but wasn't Goku. She could smell another person with them, two actually. A woman and a man, she knelt down as she looked down at the ground below.
Below her, Goten was on his date with his girlfriend Valese. They both bumped into Mr. Satan. But something else seemed off, something dark. Yet, whatever it was. It didn't seem like it was focused on Goten, not now at least.
Scarlet's eyes narrowed, her face stern and focused. She felt that presence before, she couldn't recall where, but it felt familiar. "I got the sudden feeling of deja vu." She mumbled to herself.
Not far from the three below, a man was walking around, stumbling even. He had his sights on Goten for a moment or two. Before some other person bumped into, a smirk appeared on the man's face. Something metallic and grey leaked out from his body and into the other person's body through a cut on their leg.
Scarlet stood up, she took one step towards the edge of the rooftop, she could smell it, or whatever it was. The familiar feeling that was once in her body. It was here as well, she shook her head. No, not it. He was here. But his presence felt colder, darker....not the same as the one from before. "What are you doing here....Baby?" She muttered.
The new host for Baby, sensed that familiar feeling of his own ki, his own presence. Stopping in his tracks, the host lanced up at the building Scarlet was on. Baby felt it, he felt the presence of a body he, or rather a variation of himself had controlled. "So....a body I used to control...repossessing that body may bring my goal one step closer...."
Scarlet took notice, she was spotted. "Damn it." She cursed under her breath, she didn't hesitate however. She took one step forward and plummeted down towards the street below. All while, Goten was too busy being distracted by Valese. But, she didn't go unnoticed, oh no. Mr. Satan had seen her falling, he gulped. Thinking she was a depressed person who wanted to end their life. He wanted to say something, but by the time Scarlet had landed, she was unharmed.
"W-What the? Someone who doesn't take damage from a fall that high? I must really be getting old..." Hercule muttered to himself, he rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't seeing things. But nope, he wasn't. Scarlet stood there, uninjured from that fall. Or so it seemed.
Scarlet winched slightly. "Fuck..." She cursed quietly under her breath. "How am I still not fully recovered?" She noticed the possessed person walking towards her. She scoffed, her Grimm arm pulsed, her hand twitched.
Mr. Satan backed up slowly. He took a step back as he watched what was about to unfold before his eyes. "H-Hey G-Goten, maybe you should....help."
Goten, being too busy to notice, brushed it off. But Scarlet's presence didn't go unnoticed by him, that's when things took a turn.
The person stopped, their eyes glowing slightly behind their glasses. "So.." There was a pause, silver tendrils shot from the person's chest. Baby was trying to possess Scarlet, but Baby recoiled. The tendrils of his body returned to the person, Baby was getting angry. "Why? Why can't I?" He questioned, as if asking for an answer.
"Because you possessed me once before, but not the you I see now." Scarlet spoke.
Baby growled, but smirked. The person soon collapsed to the ground. The body spasmed, that's when Goten took notice. "Hey you!" He shouted.
Scarlet ignored him, she knew exactly what was going on. Then the person's body glowed. Baby materialized from the body, a smirk playing at his face. "I would say I should be impressed, but I'm not. You claim to have been possessed by me once before, but know this. I will find a way to control you."
Scarlet scoffed. "I'd like to see you try Baby."
Baby snarled, his aura shot up as he powered up. Goten's eyes went wide. "Hercule, get Valese to safety."
Mr. Satan nodded as he grabbed Valese's hand and ran away with her. "Show that creep whose boss!"

Baby had flattened the city, he floated in the air laughing. Goten had a smug look on his face, but Scarlet, she was focused.
"What's so funny? You don't seem all that tough." Goten spoke.
Baby snarled. "You dare mock me?"
Scarlet didn't know if she should be embarrassed or annoyed, Goten mocking Baby. But this was taking mockery to another level. She could definitely see the family resemblance from Goku. She groaned as she facepalms. "Don't rile him up..."
"You're being too paranoid, he doesn't seem that strong." Goten spoke.
Scarlet growled, oh how she wished she could just tear Goten's throat open. But she didn't. Instead Baby came flying towards them both, Scarlet got on her defense. She braced for impact. Goten noticed as he powered up to Super Saiyan. Baby charged in for the attack, he smirked. This is exactly what he wanted, he just needed to give Goten a good scratch or two, then he could control him.
Goten noticed Baby was coming head on at him, He punched Baby in the face, sending him flying back. Scarlet noticed this was too easy, she couldn't sense it, but she could read the way Baby didn't even fight back.
"See, nothing to worry about. This freak show isn't all that tough." Goten spoke.
Scarlet glared at him. "You're just like your father....only worse."
Goten blinked in confusion, he wanted to ask how she knew his father. But Baby fired ki blast towards them. Scarlet jumped in the way. Using Black Rose to deflect the ki blasts, she spun her scythe around in front of her like a fan. The ki blasts deflecting off it.
Baby growled, he was getting pissed at this point. He powered up once more, Scarlet prepared herself for the worst. Sure enough, she was right. "Here he comes."
Baby flew towards Scarlet at a quick speed. Scarlet went to swing Black Rose at the Tuffle, but Baby vanished before the contact was made. Scarlet sniffed the air, she couldn't smell him. He was masking his scent, then out of nowhere, Baby appeared from above Scarlet, hitting her down with a powerful kick. Scarlet was sent crashing down to the ground below, Goten however didn't react in time, his reaction to the attack was slow. Baby smirked as he fired a ki blast right in front of Goten. The blast tore his shirt, leaving a scratch on him. The wound was opened, but Goten didn't think anything of this.
"That was a dirty trick." Goten spoke. "Now you'll pay." He punched Baby hard in the gut as round house kicks Baby, sending him spiraling down. "Eat this!" He fired a barrage of ki blast down that the area Baby had crashed down at.
Scarlet groaned as she sat up from where she had landed, she noticed the light show. She slowly rose up into the air, blood trickled down her arm and face. Her Grimm arm pulsed once again, she winched as she gripped her Grimm arm. "Damn it all, not now." She hissed. She was unstable, she couldn't focus, her Nevermore wings flapped weakly. "Tch." She scoffed. "What I wouldn't do for a senzu bean right about now."
Mr. Satan noticed Scarlet seemed unsteady and unstable. "Hey uh...are you okay?"
Scarlet heard him, but she tried to ignore him. But the pain was too bearable to ignore, she fell mid-air as she landed next to Mr. Satan and Valese.
"Oh my goodness, she looks terrible." Valese spoke.
"Don't....pay attention to me...." Scarlet spoke. "Focus on the fight above."
Valese looked at her for a moment before looking up, Mr. Satan did the same, after Goten finished the barrage of ki blast, Baby chuckled. "Is that the best you got Saiyan? You were all talk before."
Goten glanced around, looking for Baby. But couldn't see him, a car that was stuck in a building fell out as Baby appeared there. He turned around and smirked. "Is that all your puny powers can reach? I'm disappointed."
Goten gritted his teeth. "I've had enough of this!" His eyes narrowed and his face stern. "Kame-" He put his hands together as the blue ki formed in his hands. "Hame-"
Baby chuckled, this was all too perfect. He just floated there, waiting for the attack to come flying at him. Scarlet however noticed, before she could even warn Goten not to fire, it was too late.
"HA!!!" Goten shouted as he fired the Kamehameha towards Baby, it pushed Baby upwards to the sky. Waiting for the perfect moment.
As Baby was pushed further and further up, he grinned. "Now." His body morphed into a silver liquid and went straight through the Kamehameha wave. Goten was too focused on pushing the wave of ki upwards towards space. Baby made his move, his silver liquid form made its way through the blue ki wave, and then. Baby went into the cut on Goten's body.
The blast of ki vanished as Goten floated there, still in Super Saiyan, he didn't speak he stayed quiet. But Baby, oh he was pleased. To have so much Saiyan power at his grasp. but Scarlet could tell things were off.
"Damn that boy." Scarlet muttered.
Mr. Satan looked at her with a confused look. "Now hold on, you saw how he blasted that creep out of here."
Scarlet shot him a glare. "That's not the point. You can't sense it, nor can she." She glanced to Valese. "But I can smell the difference."
"You can....smell the difference?" Valese asked. "But I don't smell anything.."
Scarlet let out a frustrated sigh, she stood up slowly. She noticed the change, and they didn't. Goten was the host now for Baby. Baby was in control of his mind and body. "Your a fool, you hear me?"
Goten or rather Baby, turned his gaze to the three below. "Oh? Whatever do you mean?"
"Cut the crap." Scarlet hissed. "I know what you did, you're not dead."
Baby chuckled. "So, you're smarter than you appear." Baby grins. "But allow me to leave you three with a parting gift." He was charging up a huge ki blast from his hand, the blue ki was now a pink hue of ki.
Scarlet didn't like this one bit. "Damn it, fuck....fuck, fuck." She used what strength she could muster up and used her semblance to stop time, before Baby could even attack. She grabbed Mr. Satan and Valese, and hurried off with the two. Away from the area and from Baby.

After Baby had taken notice the three were gone, he shrugged it off. "They were too weak anyway. Now...who should I target next? Who is the strongest?" There was a pause for a moment. "Vegeta."
Baby flew off, leaving the now ruined Satan City. But elsewhere, Scarlet leaned against the wall of a crumbling building. She was glad Baby couldn't detect her, she glanced towards the sky as she watched Baby fly overhead. "Where is he going?"
Mr. Satan glanced up as he noticed the direction Goten was heading. "Oh um, in that direction is Capsule Corp. Why? You're still not telling us what's so different about Goten."
Scarlet scoffed. Of course, he was going after Vegeta. "Great, he's gone after Vegeta." She tried to walk, but her legs wobbled like jello.
"Hey now, take it easy. You're in no shape to go anywhere." Valese spoke. "And you're certainly not going to leave without an explanation."
Scarlet glared at the two of them. She needed sustenance to regain her strength. "You, old man."
Mr. Satan glanced around as he pointed at himself. "Me?"
"No, the idiot behind you. Yes you, take me to your home." Scarlet spoke.
Mr. Satan wasn't sure why she wanted to go to his home, but he nodded lightly. "R-Rght, lets go then. Follow me."
