A couple of days had passed since the incident with Jake and Ash—days that felt both endless and too short, filled with quiet reflection on the confrontation.
The memory of her tears soaking his shirt still sat heavy in his chest. He hadn't seen her since.
He hadn't went to the store either. Mary too—probably resting, healing from everything. But he knew this was just the beginning.
Sun rays sneaked into his room and hit his eyes, pulling him slowly from sleep. The light was soft, golden, filtering through the half-open blinds in thin stripes across his bed.
He groaned softly, burying his face in the pillow for a moment, letting the warmth sink into his skin. The room was quiet except for the distant hum of morning traffic and the faint chirp of birds outside his window.
"Good morning, handsome" Liza's voice purred in his mind, sweet and teasing, like warm honey dripping down his thoughts.
"Morning" Alex mumbled, rubbing his eyes as he sat up, a lazy smile tugging at his lips despite the lingering weight from the past days. "You always greet me first"
She laughed softly, the sound vibrating pleasantly through his head, light and playful. "Because I love seeing that sleepy smile on your face. And let's be honest—who wouldn't want to wake up to the voice of the most gorgeous succubus queen in existence?"
Alex chuckled, swinging his legs out of bed, the sheets tangling around his ankles for a moment before he kicked them free. "Flattery in the morning? You're in a good mood."
"I'm always in a good mood when you're around" she replied, her tone playful but with that underlying warmth that had grown between them over the days. "Besides, you feel different today. Stronger. More... alive. The mana from all that delicious lust with Mary is still flowing through you."
"Yeah" he admitted, standing and stretching his arms overhead, feeling the power humming under his skin like a low current. His muscles flexed with that new, effortless strength that still surprised him sometimes—broader shoulders, tighter core, the kind of body that turned heads now without him even trying. "I do. Like energy is buzzing through me. It's... nice."
"That's my powers rubbing off on you" Liza said proudly, a hint of satisfaction in her voice. "Your body's adapting faster than I expected. Soon you'll be tossing cars around for fun if you keep feeding me properly."
Alex headed to the bathroom, flicking on the light and staring at his reflection for a moment—the sharp jaw, the crimson eyes that no longer made him flinch, the faint scar on his shoulder from an old bully fight long forgotten. He turned on the shower, letting the steam fill the small space as he stripped off his clothes.
"Speaking of powers" he said, stepping under the hot spray, the water cascading over his shoulders and down his back in soothing streams. "Since I'm feeling this good, think you could teach me some magic today? Like telekinesis?"
Liza paused for a beat, then her voice lit up with excitement. "Oh? Eager to play with magic, are you? Alright, but only a little. Your human brain might fry if we push too hard."
"Fair enough" he said, nodding under the water as soap suds slid down his chest. "Show me."
"See that shampoo bottle on the shelf? Stare at it. Really focus. Then just... want it to slide right."
Alex fixed his gaze on the white bottle, concentrating hard, imagining it moving, willing it with everything he had.
Nothing happened at first. The bottle sat there, mocking him.
He wasn't expecting himself to pull that off on the first try anyway.
"Come on." Liza coached gently, her voice patient. "Don't force it. Relax. Breathe. It's not a fight—it's a thought. Feel the mana inside you, that warmth in your heart, and just... nudge it toward the bottle."
He took a deep breath, let his shoulders drop, and tried again—this time calm, picturing the bottle gliding smoothly, like it was on ice.
It twitched.
Then slid a few inches to the right.
"Yes!" Liza cheered, her voice bursting with delight, echoing in his head like applause. "Look at you! First real try and you nailed it!"
She was overjoyed he could have use magic powers as a mere human. But it was due to her using magic on his body, making him gradually adaptable to it.
Alex laughed, a rush of adrenaline hitting him harder than the hot water. "Holy shit, that was intense." He panted, leaning against the tile as a wave of dizziness washed over him, the world tilting for a second.
"Told you—it's draining at first" she said, amused but proud. "Watch this." The bottle danced left and right effortlessly under her control, smooth as silk, spinning in lazy circles before settling back in place.
"Show-off" he teased, catching his breath, the dizziness fading slowly.
"I am the almighty Queen, remember?" she shot back with a laugh, light and triumphant. "I was born doing this. But you'll get there. Practice, food, rest... and lots of sex to recharge that mana fast. The more you indulge, the stronger we both get."
Alex rolled his eyes, but he was smiling wide now, the excitement still buzzing. "Always back to sex with you."
"Because it's the best way," she said innocently, but with that wicked edge. "And the most fun. Imagine—every orgasm not just pleasure, but power. Money. Strength. All yours."
He finished showering, the hot water easing the lingering fatigue from the telekinesis attempt. He toweled off, feeling the mana slowly trickle back as he moved, like a battery recharging.
He knew mastering her skills would take time—months, maybe years—but the possibility excited him more than he could say. It wasn't just power. It was control. Over his life. Over the struggle around him.
After drying off and dressing—dark jeans that hugged his thighs, black hoodie soft from too many washes, sneakers—he headed to the kitchen for breakfast. The house was quiet; his mom had left for her early shift hours ago, the faint scent of her coffee still lingering. They rarely shared mornings anymore, and that always left a small ache in his chest.
He made a simple egg and butter sandwich, pouring a coffee in his mug, sitting at the small table by the window where sunlight pooled warm and golden.
As he ate, he thought aloud to Liza. "Any way to get rich quick? I want to help my mom and Mary too... Take the weight off their shoulders—they've been carrying everything alone for too long."
He didn't forget Mary either. After the bond was formed, she was a family to him now and needed to help her out with her debt.
Liza hummed thoughtfully, her presence curling comfortably in his mind. "Instant riches?... No, handsome... But there's a way! Ahh it's slow at first, and it drains mana like crazy, but it's easy."
"Tell me" he said, taking another bite, curiosity sparking.
"Put your left hand palm-up on the table. Relax. Deep breaths. Trust me."
He did, curious, placing his hand flat, breathing slow and steady.
Suddenly the feeling vanished from his arm—he couldn't move it, like it wasn't his anymore.
"Hey—what the—?"
"Shh. I borrowed it for a second, since you can't handle magic on your own" Liza said calmly, reassuring. His left arm lifted on its own, then settled back down gently.
"Whoaaa..." he breathed, heart racing a little.
"Ready for some real magic?" she asked, excitement creeping in, voice low and thrilling.
A glowing golden orb formed above his palm, swirling with pure energy, bright and mesmerizing, casting soft light across the table.
It looked like a piece of paradise flowing over his palm.
Alex's eyes went wide. "No way..."
The orb shrank, condensed, pulsing once, twice—and vanished, leaving a crisp money bill in its place.
"No fucking way... A hundred?" he whispered, picking it up with trembling fingers, turning it over in disbelief. A $100 bill created from thin air.
"One hundred percent identical to the bank ones" Liza said proudly, a hint of satisfaction in her voice. "But earth mana is thin compared to hell. I can only make three or four when I'm full. And recharging takes time... unless you know the fastest way—"
"Sex" he finished for her, shaking his head with an amused smile, the bill still in his hand.
"Exactly!" she laughed, delighted. "Fuck a lot, recharge me fast, make money. Win-win. You get pleasure, I get power, your mom gets relief from those endless shifts."
He examined the bill under the sunlight—perfect in every detail. Watermark, serial number, the faint texture of real cotton-linen paper.
"It's not illegal if no one can know this" she added, anticipating his question. "Magic money is real money—undetectable."
Alex pocketed it, heart racing with possibilities. He finished breakfast quickly, the taste of jam sweet on his tongue, mind already spinning with plans—how many times could he push his limits? How fast could he build something real?
If he could make money just by sex, shouldn't he be doing it already?! No time should go to waste.
He locked the door behind him and headed to college like the usual routine, the morning air crisp and invigorating.
As soon as he stepped onto the front lawn, he spotted a figure at the pavement in front of his house. A blush across the beautiful cute face and eyes blue as sapphires, looking like about to explode with desperation.
White blouse hugging her curves just right, short blue skirt swaying with soft wind, barely covering that juicy, thick thighs that squeezed themselves enticingly.
'It's time to get rich!' Liza grinned wickedly, her voice dripping with anticipation.
