The endless vines by the seaside were indeed useful, but unfortunately, the Moon Clan learned from earlier lessons... A Mage who can never aim properly is less useful than a mindlessly hammer-wielding Knight.

Although the majority of the Mage's attacks were absorbed, and the first wave of Knights charging down got entangled in the vines, the Moon Clan Knights charging up the ramparts still far outnumbered the Undead Tribe's Knights.
Although the Undead Tribe's Priests had more proficient skills, sometimes, no matter how good the skills, they can't compare to overwhelming strength.
The only consolation for the Undead Tribe is that their Defensive Knights never fear death.
After the first wave of Knights almost resulting in double the enemy Knights falling, the reserves charged the ramparts with shield walls without batting an eye.
