"Are you okay?"
Lin Fan noticed that something seemed off. In his mind, Professor Ji had always been a particularly decisive and spirited woman. But now, the look in her eyes made him feel that the Professor Ji in front of him was not the one he knew.
"I'm fine, I'm really good, nothing to worry about."
Faced with Lin Fan's inquiry, Professor Ji answered three times in quick succession. Her tone was so fast that it didn't feel natural, as if she was under some sort of stimulation.
Lin Fan saw the experimental materials and recognized them instantly, kindly reminding her, "Professor Ji, Professor Xia said that this stuff is not very scientific, so he stopped researching it. Maybe you should also drop it, don't take it too seriously?"
"It's fine, it's fine, it's just a bit complex; anything can be explained scientifically. I think I'm about to figure it out," said Professor Ji, but her tone was not very confident.
