The team members looked at each other, their once tense expressions gradually relaxing. They shouted without restraint, vented, reminisced about the past experiences, facing the apocalypse, putting their lives on the line, having forgotten life and death, facing the despair of terrifying zombies, the death of companions around them—every scene deeply tormented their souls.
Now the apocalypse has ended, their mood is joyful and relaxed, no longer needing to be constantly vigilant as in the past.
Their hearts are filled with gratitude and emotion, having finally walked out of that dark era, welcoming a new brightness. They are thankful to Lin Fan, thankful to everyone at the Sunshine Shelter.
It was every living person who gave them hope that the apocalypse could be overcome; hope is always present.
