The so-called Nether, is the hidden of brightness.
In the Ancient Era, the Sixth Generation Emperor Canghuang created writing. He observed heaven and earth and combined it with the Heavenly Dao, using the three thousand Heavenly Rules as a foundation to create the methods of 'runes' and 'word spirits', becoming the Creator of the runes and word spirits' Heavenly Rules.
From then on, every kind of Heavenly Rule, every kind of Great Dao, had its own unique written representation.
Canghuang created the word 'Nether', specifically referring to the period between dusk and night, or the time just before dawn.
The sky covers the heavens, yet the Sun has not completely risen, or not completely set.
Canghuang further used the word 'Nether' to represent those Yin Spirits that exist between life and death, as well as the unique Heavenly Rule born from it.
The Netherworld Sea and the Netherworld thus gained the title of Netherworld.
