The hole in the Wall of Fire and Flesh finally closed, sealing the battlefield away from the void. Yet the image of those Root Dragons remained carved into the hearts of the warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe. Their presence alone had been overwhelming—entities whose authority was powerful enough to kill any of them with a single strike.
And the worst thing was that they were not even able to glance at the one who unleashed such monsters.
The tension lingered, thick and heavy.
Before fear or doubt could take root, Cain turned to face the gathered forces. His body was wounded, his energy nearly depleted, and his regeneration barely holding together. Even so, the aura he released commanded immediate attention and respect.
"The enemy is stronger," Cain said calmly, his voice firm and unwavering. "There is no denying that."
The warriors stiffened, eyes fixed on him.
