Despite the incredibly awkward atmosphere on site.
There was no reason to stop the engagement ceremony halfway.
They could only grit their teeth and proceed.
Edward Shaw and Edward Sullivan secretly instructed the hotel staff to lock the doors of Hall 2, preventing any more guests from entering or exiting at will.
"It's your turn to go on stage."
The master of ceremonies for the engagement told William Shaw and Nora Sullivan.
Now that Edward Sullivan and Edward Shaw had finished speaking, it was naturally time for them to get on stage and display their love.
"William, fix your expression, it's our turn to go on stage. Don't forget, we're still being live-streamed... The people online don't know what's happening here, if we don't feel embarrassed ourselves, then others will be the embarrassed ones!"
Nora Sullivan whispered encouragement to William Shaw!
It turns out that this engagement ceremony, given Nora Sullivan's influencer status, was of course meant to be hyped online.
