Valus stepped back, and a set of hooked katana appeared in his hands. Beneath him, Alan started to change.
The rock trapping his body underneath began to crack, the storm disappeared, and even the waves retreated as far as they could. The Black Sea was running away, as Alan's hair started to darken.

The rock turned to dust, and Aranus climbed out of it, floating in the air. With an exhausted expression, he looked at Valus. They both stared at one another; neither of them wanted to be the first one to talk.
Valus was wary, and Aranus was exhausted. In the end, Aranus stretched his limbs and stretched out his hand, attempting to call something. But nothing happened.
"Haaa..."
He let out a sigh.
"Of course it wouldn't come, stubborn piece of metal."
He lamented, cursing his damn spear that refused to answer to his call. Valus didn't miss the chance and dashed forward.
