Leon Battleson's words were not surprising to Charlotte Thompson.
After hearing them, she couldn't help but curl her lips into a cold smile.
"Leon, we both know very well what you want to do with Justin. Do you really think that after meeting me, you'll clear up all those online rumors?"
Hearing this, a soft laugh came from Leon on the other end of the line.
"Perhaps none of this is set in stone."
Charlotte had no desire to continue talking with Leon, so she hung up without waiting for him to say anything more.
She tightened her grip on the phone in her palm. Even after ending the call, the frown on her brow did not ease.
She pressed her fingertips against her aching temples and finally sighed.
In her heart, Charlotte was very clear that Leon had something up his sleeve. Especially since he chose this time to call, inviting her to meet him.
