Charlotte Thompson looked at Justin Battleson's face, her expression somewhat complex as she spoke.
But Justin was quicker and reached out to place a finger against Charlotte's lips, gently rubbing the corner of her lips with his fingertip.
"I know." Justin said, smiling warmly at Charlotte.
"Right now, Grace is still in the hospital, so how could I choose to remarry you at this time?"
With that, Justin curled Charlotte's palm, lowering his head to plant a kiss on her fingertip.
"We still have a lot of time, everything can proceed slowly." He said.
Charlotte pressed her lips together and looked at Justin with a smile: "Thank you, Justin."
Hearing Charlotte's words, Justin brushed her nose with a doting tone.
"Silly girl, what's there to thank me for? Grace is our daughter, you feel for her, and so do I."
