And so, the Armed Detectives told Arturo to wait for the answer regarding the family tree in which Atsushi was in it. The waiting period was not yet known, but Arturo was willing to wait for it. After that, Arturo decided to go and shop for food and supplies for his first night in Japan, leaving the Agency with his messenger bag while the Armed Detectives wavered their goodbyes to him. But Atsushi was worried about him about the possibility of him getting entangled with their enemies, the Port Mafia.
But, Atsushi was right when Arturo was walking in Yokohama when someone knocked him unconscious with a cloth laced with chloroform, and everything went black. As a result, Arturo woke up later, only to find out that he was tied to a chair in a dark room in some sort of building. "What the…?" Arturo was shocked to see that, before trying to shake the tightly tied ropes off him, but to no avail.
"What is happening here?" his mind asked.
And then, the door was opened, and a slender figure came in, brandishing a gangster's knife at him.
Arturo looked at him and was instantly afraid of him, shivering in fear.
"Do you have any connection with the Armed Detective Agency?" the figure, Akutagawa, asked him while pointing his weapon at Arturo's neck.
"W-What?" Arturo asked him with fear.
"DO YOU HAVE ANY CONNECTION WITH THE ARMED DETECTIVE AGENCY?!" Akutagawa shouted back in demand.
"N-No! I am just a first-time visitor there!"
Akutagawa then pulled back but maintained his serious face at Arturo.
Arturo was shivering in fear, but in his mind, he knew that the person was targeting the Agency. So, Arturo comes up with statements that will fool Akutagawa. So, first off, he said to him, "Okay, I'll tell you what their latest movements are."
Akutagawa was stunned at his relaxed response. "What?"
Arturo then nodded chillingly. "Yes, and apparently, their latest mission was in northern Yokohama hunting down some smugglers."
Although it sounded fake, Akutagawa believed his statement and said seriously, "Okay, thank you for that, and I'll go there to stop them. And also, don't you dare escape, got that?"
"Yup!" Arturo then suspiciously smiled for a bit.
Akutagawa was weirded out by it but left the room, slamming the door shut and having it locked.
Later, after Akutagawa left to hunt for the Armed Detectives, it was proved to be a trick because Arturo used one of his two supernatural abilities, Into the Shadows, to escape being tied up in the room and went outside, before running away as far as he could while snickering like a child. But he didn't escape without leaving a taunting note for Akutagawa, complete with 2 translations of his message and a smiley face beside it.
