Bree turned to look at the man who was holding her by her wrist and frowned. "What are you doing, fourth consort?"
The man smiled at her. He raised his hand and tucked the locks of her hair that had fallen awry due to the sudden jerky movement as she was pulled back by him. Cian peered down at her. "What do you think, your majesty?"
Her frown didn't loosen as she tried to pull away from Cian. She didn't care if this man was going crazy, or maybe he was acting all along, and it was his true personality showing. Anyway, she knew that this man was downright insane. It was a side effect of acting as an assassin for fun. But if he dared to mess with her when she was already pissed off, then, oh boy, he was in for a rude awakening.
"Let me go," Bree gritted out. But to her surprise, the man simply smiled at her as if he didn't hear a thing that she was saying to him. Closing her eyes, she breathed out and then ground out, "Don't make me repeat myself. Let go of me right now."
