"Are you heading back home, or do you want the driver to take you somewhere specific?" Hong Bo asked, checking the time on her wristwatch.
She didn't want to spend too much time at Liu Jing's house, but that was a decision for Liu Wei to make.
Chow Niu and Aika had helped the two of them pick out gifts, so the car trunk was packed with items.
Liu Wei let out a soft sigh; she was feeling anxious, and Chow Niu noticed it.
"Do you want us to go with you, Weiwei?"
Hong Bo looked toward Liu Wei; she remained quiet, not wanting to come across as overbearing at that moment.
Aika simply nodded.
"Yeah, if you want, we can wait in the car for you—we don't have anything else to do anyway..."
Liu Wei glanced at Hong Bo as if seeking permission and received a lovely smile in return.
"Don't look at me like that; if you want us to go dressed as chickens, we will. Your opinion is what matters here."
That put Liu Wei more at ease, especially knowing Hong Bo was trying to cheer her up.
