Aika watched the scene unfold, feeling a strange sense of validation. Hong Bo was clearly trying to preserve at least some of her family's dignity, though Aika wasn't entirely sure what to make of it.
She sighed, irritation simmering beneath the surface. Her brother was a complete idiot. She had plenty of reservations about her own family, but watching her parents being humiliated and shamed still made her blood boil.
