The peddler on the ox cart was confident. Among the eight hundred disciples at Yuzhen Temple, he was part of the second group. Although not as skilled as the seven elite masters, he had nearly two thousand years of Dao Practice.
Disguising his presence, worried only about the extraordinary figures of the Central Plains, he would easily handle ordinary Abnormal People with a flick of a finger.
"Bad luck for you to expose me!"
With a cold smile, the peddler's figure flashed and vanished from the ox cart. In an instant, he appeared before Master Lin Yi, extending a demonic claw with spread fingers to seize Master Lin Yi's head.
He planned to kill the master first with one claw, then frighten the young Daoist to death.
However, as the demonic claw was three feet from Master Lin Yi, a glint of golden fire flashed before him.
Before he could react, a sharp spear tip appeared at the center of the flame, locking onto his Divine Soul and thrusting towards his brow.
