"It means their true aim might not be the Holy Grail Wish at all, but something else entirely," Olivia replied. "Something that… could make everything happening right now even worse."
"The Chaos Gate thrives in our society. Collapsing it would go against everything they stand for," Satoru said. "Besides, that old man—Lord Chaos—has his cute little daughter Kireina to look after now. I've heard he's grown much softer since she was born. I'd rather keep this fragile balance."
"It is a very fragile balance, Satoru," Olivia sighed. "But you're right… it does feel strange. Why go this far? Even I'm still trying to piece it together. Maybe they're no longer driven purely by profit. Maybe it's become something personal."
"…Hmmm. How annoying. How am I supposed to guess any of that?" Satoru scratched his head and shrugged. "Meh, whatever! Shall we go eat something out there, Olivia? Let's make it a date~"
