Evelyn was no stranger to threats to her life. She had experienced unimaginable pain so many times that she had lost count already. So long as there was a chance of success, she would trudge forward no matter how harrowing it was.
That was her resolve.

It remained silent because a response would confirm that Evelyn was correct. Perhaps it did not believe it could get away with lying to her, or maybe the divine artifact was incapable of doing so to begin with.
"I'm not just going to wait around if there is something that I can do. If you're not going to help me, then get out of my way." Evelyn said waving her hand and pushing the ball of purple light aside.
