Rustle, rustle!
The fine rain hit the eaves of the pavilion, creating a pitter-patter sound. Early birds perched on the wooden railings of the corridor, looking blankly at the rain curtain, shaking off water from their feathers, occasionally letting out a soft chirp.
Chen Mo called the White Fox over and asked someone to prepare tea and snacks.
As soon as the White Fox arrived, it affectionately rubbed its head against Chen Mo's leg, then curled up at his feet, watching the woman opposite.
Lin Su Ya stared at the spiritual White Fox before her, her eyes flashing slightly, then slowly squatted down and waved at the fox.
But the White Fox didn't pay her any attention.
Lin Su Ya wasn't bothered, she took two steps forward, extending her fair slender arm to stroke the White Fox's head, though it bared its teeth until soothed by Chen Mo, then allowed Lin Su Ya to pet and examine it.
