Jacob wasn't expecting the intruder to have a child-like appearance, but appearances can be deceiving in the Zodiac Plains.
Furthermore, since this 'child' was able to sneak into the Infinite Space without getting noticed by Autarch all this time, it was apparent that he was anything but ordinary.
Nonetheless, Jacob wasn't afraid at all because this was infinite space, and just as he had been able to detect and force Whiteness to come out of hiding, he was confident he could confine it as well and make Whiteness into another test subject!
On the other hand, Whiteness staggered slightly, his composure shattered completely. His white eyes trembled as he looked around at the Infinite Space bending obediently to Jacob's will, at the puppets frozen mid-motion, and at the tower looming like an execution scaffold.
"Impossible! This is impossible!"
