That was quite a crazy thought to have, especially so early in the morning, barely five minutes after waking up from sleep.
However, on this fine morning, I couldn't help but find myself having such a thought.
Both personal experience and instinct were warning me that Evan definitely intended to say or do something that he knew was sure to displease me.
It was a conclusion I immediately reached after waking up and heading downstairs, where I found Evan seated at the kitchen counter, silently tapping his fingers on the marble surface while lost in thought, before he immediately suggested that the two of us take a trip to Earth V the moment I called out to him.
Was it the look in his eyes when he said it? Or was it the tone of his voice? Was it his whole general demeanour?
In the end, it didn't really matter.
What mattered was that my instincts had already begun ringing alarm bells in my head the moment he made that suggestion.
