The call ended, Amelia Miles's gaze swept over the crowd, finally landing on Julian Miles's face.
"Did everyone hear that? Hawke Corporation now only recognizes me, so I'll be taking over this project."
Everyone, of course, heard clearly, and aside from a few whispers, none said anything more.
Julian Miles's expression turned even darker, he coldly stared at Amelia, his eyes filled with a menacing gleam.
"Alright, is there anything else? If not, then let's adjourn the meeting."
Amelia Miles had secured her position as the head of Miles Corporation.
Julian snorted, stood up, and slammed the chair, leaving in large strides.
The others also began to leave.
The conference room was left with only Hunter Miles and Amelia Miles.
Hunter smiled contentedly, "Elly, not bad, I didn't expect you to be so assertive. I was worried about you."
Amelia slumped in her chair, "Dad, I'm just putting on a brave face, I'm scared to death, my back is drenched in cold sweat."
