"Where's Ren?"
Saya asked the moment she stepped into World Conqueror's headquarters.
She didn't bother greeting anyone. Her eyes scanned the room immediately, skipping past Isolde and Leonel as if they weren't even there. Ren wasn't at his usual spot. He wasn't near the strategy table. He wasn't leaning against the wall or sitting idly by the window.
He was nowhere.
Ever since morning, Ren hadn't answered a single one of her calls. No replies. No notifications. Just silence.
The only thing he left behind was a short message—two lines, sent hours ago.
[Ren: I'm currently on a mission. All forms of communication there are blocked.
If you're not convinced, then ask Leo to take you to me.]
That message was the reason she was here.
