A large portion of White Unicorns' Mages had been positioned a safe distance from the main fight. It was the designated casting zone—an area where ranged players could freely launch spells without fear of being stomped or swatted by the Thunder King's enormous arms.
Unfortunately, that was exactly where the Thunder King landed in a single earth-shaking leap.
The shift in aggro had happened too quickly. One moment the Tanks held its attention, the next, the Thunder King turned its head, locked onto the Mage formation, and leaped before anyone understood what was happening. The ranged classes barely had time to react.
No one expected Ivan—their veteran commander, their pride—would ever make such a mistake. He had never slipped like this before. The guild trusted him completely, and because of that trust, their guard had dropped.
Now, they were paying the price.
