Ivan nodded firmly. Roger had made it very clear that Ren's sole purpose here was to act as a magical cannon. His spells were undeniably powerful, and that was all the core members planned to exploit.
If they killed the Thunder King using their strategy, they wouldn't need to pay Ren a single gil. So they were determined to drain every last drop of his mana and every potion in his inventory.
