"I can't believe our parents are arriving together. Did they plan this?" Leonel bit his thumb and bounced on his toes like a kid waiting for cotton candy. They were at the airport, watching the crowd spill out from the arrival gate.
"Calm down," Ren said, amused. Leonel had been fidgeting for the last ten minutes, pacing back and forth like a man on trial. "You're acting like you're about to confess to a crime."
"That's easy for you to say," Leonel hissed. "Your parents already know your secret. Mine don't. I've been having nightmares that my mom's calling the cops on me for suddenly becoming rich."
Ren chuckled. "Don't worry. I told my parents to keep quiet. You'll get to surprise yours properly."
"I'd rather your parents tell mine," Leonel groaned. "At least that way I'll live to see next week."
Ren was about to reply when he caught sight of a familiar figure in the crowd. "Oh. There they are."
