"Hey, look! There it is!" Rox suddenly pointed straight ahead, excitement in his voice.
At their twelve o'clock, towering between the fog and broken trees, stood the Hidden Boss — Rakusha, the Terror of the Illusion Forest. Its black hide gleamed under the dim glow of the fireflies, and its four horns curved like jagged blades.
But what caught Ren off guard wasn't the Boss itself. It was the group already fighting it.
He frowned. "Another team's engaging it?"
This was new. His info about Illusion Forest was limited, and he hadn't expected other players to be able to lure the Hidden Boss. Usually, a Boss Room was locked once a team entered — yet here, another group had somehow managed to kite it into battle.
Ren's mind worked fast. If that's possible… then maybe Rakusha isn't the only Boss here. Perhaps there was another deeper inside — one that couldn't be kill-stealed. Maybe the system allowed multiple encounters within the same map.
