Lending down on his feet on top of the ground below. Ryan stared down at Riley side showing a smile. Riley also gave a smile at him too. Ryan tilted his head said how did she like his display of his power.
Lennox came running towards their direction. He gave a small laugh at the two. "It's finally over now," He said bowing his head at Ryan thanking him. Ryan casually winking his eye saying it was no problem.
He walked up towards Riley side placed his arms around back and legs. He then casually lifted her off the floor walking with her body inside the door. Ryan slowly placed her body on top of the couch underneath.
"Thank you," Riley said to Ryan. Ryan faintly smiled and nodded his head before turning his back walking out the room.
He looked down towards Lennox saying, " The work is not done yet, we still have a lot of things to solve right away!"
"What do you mean? All of the assassins were defeated. Even if they were healed up by your power they already know they can beat us," Lennox stated.
Looking at the arising, Ryan firmly said, "It not them we have to worry about now." He then dashed out facing the fields. Lennox looked at him weird, wondering what he was saying.
While looking at his back he looks at where Ryan was running at. Suddenly, he widened his eyes wondering why he did not figure it out. Lennox quickly ran following Ryan from behind.
Standing at the field the villagers were pointing their weapons at the cyclopes. Hemoth hastily calmed both ground from fight each other. "What happened to us working along side together? Please let us talk to each other and resort the issue."
"Why should we do that, you monsters might be responsible for coursing the fires destroying our beloved fields!" One villager stood out from the rest muttered facing towards the cyclopes.
"I promise you, we did not course this!" Hemoth said to the small human.
An old man with a croquette smile slowly walked in at frame. As he took his steps forward he slowly walked towards the center between the villagers and the cyclopes. He lifted up his hand pointing a finger at towards Hemoth.
"How dare you claim to be innocent when so many fields were destroyed by you monsters. Leave this place right now or I'll call the adventurers to slaughter you all here," the one man said letting out a small laugh. The villagers shouted the old man. The name of the old man was Edwin Paulinus. He was the member of the council group.
"You dare to threat our chief small human. We came here to help you extinguish the fires, I guess..."
Hemoth raised his hand cutting off the cyclopes words. He firmly looked down at Edwin side. He knew that the fires were the assassins doings, that meant it was him doing also. He clinched his hand turning his back and begun walking away.
Some of the villagers through rocks at the cyclopes as the walk off. But some did think the cyclopes were actually responsible for all the fires, as they saw how hard the cyclopes helped them in extinguishing them. They kept their own thoughts to themselves hoping not to offend the others; To argue with a group of angry people is to dig an grave that would never end.
Arriving to the scene Ryan slowly walked towards the large group. He faintly smiled thinking those councillors don't want to give up. He walked up next to Edwin side, he slide a glance at him. Edwin seeing his stare quickly turned his face looking towards the side.
"I guess I have arrived early. Hemoth wait a bit," Ryan said calling out for Hemoth to stop. Hemoth stopped turning his head to look at Ryan.
Ryan raised his fist up in the air facing at Hemoth saying, "Thanks for the assist friend!"
The villagers faces widened in confusion, wondering if they heard Ryan words wrong. But to their surprise they did not hear his words wrong, but it was all said by Ryan himself. The villagers gasped out in loud voices as they were bewildered by Ryan words. Many of the villagers questioned his kind actions towards the cyclopes.
"Lord Ryan, what are you saying!? Those monsters can not be your friend!?" A figure spoke through the crowd.
Ryan coldly glared at the figure inbetween the crowd. The figure while body froze up the from moving. He proudly said, "Listen up you fool! If anyone of you dare to lay their hands on my friend, I'll gladly send that person to the other life, do you hear me!!" He firmly stated pointing his finger at the villagers. All the villagers gasped out in shocked.
"What has happened to Lord Ryan?"
"Maybe the cyclopes cast some kind of spell on him, maybe it's that!"
The villagers murmured among themselves spreading rumours around themselves. Edwin gritted his teeth glaring hard at Ryan side. Ryan flashed a bright smile at Edwin side.
"The man should be punished for befriending those awful monsters. Hurry up and capture him now!" A voice spoke out coming from Edwin back. Everyone widened their eyes in surprised, as four figures walked up towards their front side.
The four figures were the other councillors similar to Edwin title. Wearing a long dark green top that covered the man knees, a quite tall man slowly with a white beard approached first his name was, Gil. Following the man were three named, Frost, Hazel and Marshall.
Ryan turned his face at the figures with a bit of disdain. He disliked all the councilors, due to their awful behaviour and greedy personalities for wanting the cyclopes d and because they wanted all the island minerals to be have by only them; Greet has no end went one tries to others lives for their own selfish reasons.
Gil slowly approached at Ryan front, he quietly glared with a smirk expression. Ryan faintly smiled as they approached his side.
"All right then, arrested me." Ryan said putting his hands forward at the villagers side. The villagers begun stuttering among themselves. None of them wanted to even dare to approach Ryan side. Even if their island was far from the main continent, they still knew about the adventurer system. News travel across the main continent makes it sore through the island where they live inn.
The villagers refused Gil ordering them to capture Ryan. The people didnnot want to anger the strong adventurer in the world, by being stupid enough to lie their hands him. Some of the people encouraged Gil to try it himself.
Gil annoyingly looked at the crowds right in front him. With a broad shoulders and muscular physic, Hazel walked pass Gil lending his footsteps next towards Ryan side. He firmly glared down at Ryan, as he was much taller the him.
"I would gladly capture him myself." Hazel lifted his hand forward at Ryan. As his hand slowly approached at Ryan side, it was immediately slapped away by the back of Ryan hand.
"Don't you ever try to touch me again," He coldly stared up at Hazel face stating it.
