Friday afternoon…after school.
4pm. 2 hours before the spiritual party.
"Finally found you!!" Kai said as he walked towards Xavier. (This guy!) Xavier thought as he could see the immense energy pulsating around Kai's body. "You're…you're-"
"No need to panic or overreact. I'm simply here…to ask for your strength."
"My strength? What's this? Some mission you need people for?" Xavier asked as he rubbed his hand though his purple hair.
"Exactly. This mission is gonna smooth or some crap. I need all the power I can get."
"Hmph. Sorry, but I have different things and duties to attend to-"
"Like what? Messing with Wraith?" Kai chuckled.
That touched a nerve in Xavier. Xavier's eyes widened as he looked into Kai's eyes. "What was that-"
"I meant to start our conversation off with that. I knew you'd be a pain to convince, so I'll do this. I'm not asking, Xavier. I'm telling. I think it'll be a good learning experience for you. An experience that teaches you not to mess with or touch a woman when she doesn't want it." Kai said as he glared at Xavier.
"I'll be waiting outside. Be out in 5." He added as he shut the door behind him.
Xavier stood silently in his room for a while…for 3 minutes to be exact. (Coward!!!! You're a damn coward!!!) th voice yelled in his head. "That…stupid boy…hehe…AHAHA!!!" Xavier grabbed his chair and threw it at the mirror behind him, cracking it in the process. Xavier pulled his hair and fell to his knees. "I'll show you, Kai. Just because you're a legend…doesn't mean a damn thing!"

"Welp. Since Joey is out…you guys know I still intend on going to the party, right?" Ahana said as she took a bite out of an banana.
"Huh? Didn't Joey say to not go?" Mandy asked as she flipped through the pages of a book.
"Of course. But…we can end it now before the people are harmed." Ahana said.
"How?" Harvey asked.
"Simple. Tonight…at 6, the cursed soldier will come out. It's fair to say she'll still be at the foster home. I'll kill her and then everyone is safe." Ahana explained.
"You make it sound so easy!" Mandy said.
"Well, don't worry about it, Mandy. After all, you're the weak one here!" Ahana laughed. "Don't get me wrong…you and Harvey have rather…powerful potentials dwelling within you. People who're cursed also gain access to jinn energy. They can even use jinn energy to fight other jinns. It's one way to unlock the jinn energy within your body. So in short, you being cursed can allow you to gain access of your very own ability, energy, and weapon if you're strong enough. I'm almost…excited for the two of you."
"Right…strong enough to hopefully kick your ass!" Mandy spat back.
"Ahaha!!! Please, don't make me laugh. I have to really concentrate on trying to kill the soldier. You two better not tell Joey a thing. This isn't gonna take long." Ahana said.

"Lucas." Rose said while looking at the ground. "Yes?" Joey replied.
"Why do I get this weird feeling…that you're just not telling me something? Something important." Rose asked as she began to play with the blades of grass.
"N-no I'm not hiding anything. It's just…it wouldn't sit right having you there at the party."
"But that makes no sense, Lucas. Are you…going with someone else?"
"No. Of course not. It's just…I-"
"If I can't go with you to the party, then just really quick…can I please show you something? It's about 10 minutes from the party, so you'll be able to make it on time. It's a really nice thing I wanna show you, so please!" Rose begged with her hands together.
(This should be fine. If anything, if all goes well, I can actually get Rose back and have a great night with her.)
"Okay." Joey said.

5pm….one hour before the party.
"This is where we'll set up base." Kai announced as he and everyone in his group were standing on top of an abandoned building. "Isn't this the old hospital? Been here fo many years." Lily asked as she stomped on it.
"Of course. The perfect view to look towards the large party and see it if anything is going down or not!" Kai laughed as he sat down and crossed his legs.
"We wait until it starts. If you all wanna explore, I don't mind it. Just be back by 6pm. Oh, and Wraith….i'd like to have a word with you." Kai said.
"Huh?" Jackson began.
"Now, now, don't worry Jackson. It's a harmless question that I think Wraith should only answer with no one here. Duces."
"If you say so…" Jackson jumped off of the building and walked towards the small town with Jodi and Lily.
Xavier scolded Kai and Wraith. He said nothing as he also jumped off and walked off into the woods.
Ghost, in the distance, locked onto Xavier. "Where's pretty boy going?" Ghost asked himself as he sat up on the tree branch and headed towards Xavier's location.
Now it was Kai and Wraith alone. "Come sit, Wraith!" Kai waved her over as he sat on the edge of the building with his legs hanging off. Wraith sat next to him…waiting for him to say something.
"So, have you told Jackson yet?" He asked.
"Told…him what exactly?"
"Don't play dumb, Wraith. I saw you about two days ago…after the meeting, I saw you walk off with Xavier…willingly." Kai said.
"When did you-"
"I was bored an followed multiple people. Just curious what my fellow jinn slayers lives are like. I know it's weird, but…I am a weird man after all." Kai chuckled.
"I see," Wraith sighed as she put her hands on her legs. "I…I did go with Xavier a day after the meeting."
"Why's that? If you don't mind me asking."
"N-no, it's okay. It's just…me and Xavier used to be close. Very close. His…I guess I could say his story relates a little with mine. I know he's had and hell, not even the best person to be around. I just…"
"Can't let go of someone who you used to share a special bond with." Kai finished.
Wraith's eyes lit up. "How do you…"
"Ahaha! I had two best friends once. One of my friends became someone who we couldn't recognize. Someone who…had to be eliminated. My other friend, well…she couldn't let him go. Just be careful, Wraith. I don't want you to en up dead like those two." Kai said softly, as the wind pushed his hair into the wind, flowing like a calm wave in the ocean.
"I'm…sorry." Wraith said.
"No worries. By that time, I was getting use to it. The pain of losing someone you love."
"You've lost people? Like family?"
"Yes, ma'am. But the point is…every last one of them tried to hang onto someone who was in a dark place. That's what killed them." Kai placed his hand on Wraith's head. "Don't get caught in the mouse trap, Wraith. People out here…in this world…will use you for benefits."

"The suns starting to go down. You can come on out. I seen you…around…lurking." Ahana said as she was on the roof of the foster care center.
"I'm surprised you actually came. And alone at that." A woman said. Ahana turned around to see a woman wearing red high heels, a long white dress, and long black hair. "Why wear that? Or should I say manifest yourself in that?" Ahana asked. "Becusse it's beautiful. Besides, tonight is going to be my birthday."
"Wrong. Tonight's gonna be your last night on earth." Ahana said with a smile.
"Just look at you. So eager to kill something. You truly are…beautiful." The woman said as she chuckled.
Ahana reached behind her back and revealed her thick black sword. "I'm not here to waste anytime. I wanna enjoy my night, okay? I get…to finally be a kid." Ahana said with relief in her voice.
"Is that so? How interesting. I'll be honest with you, you just might be able to. I do condemn you for finding me…a cursed soldier. " The woman said.
"Might? Nah, I am." Ahana said she walked towards the woman. "Yes, maybe. There are things I have to do since you've discovered me. Congratulations, Isabella. The next time we meet, it'll be in hell I suppose." The woman clapped her hands twice, disappearing from view.
Ahana immediately used her eye to try and track the location of the woman, but she couldn't. She couldn't feel any traces of the woman anywhere. "From the information I'm feeling, she's already out of the country? Or did she retreat to the spiritual world? Hell?" Ahana could feel some of th dark energy that was once in the area lifted. "It couldn't of been that easy right? Where in the hell could she had gone? I know she's nowhere around, but still…"
Ahana threw her arms in the air and shrugged her shoulders. "Welp…not my problem anymore. Time to go out and enjoy the night!" Ahana laughed.

"No,no,no! Joey said to sit here and wait the whole night! So that's what Harvey and I are gonna do!" Mandy spat.
"Oh, smash a damn rock over my head! You seriously have problems with listening!" Ahana yelled.
"Me?! No, it's you! Just because th cursed soldier actually went away and my curse is gone, doesn't mean that something might go down at the party!" Mandy spat back.
"I highly doubt it." Harvey interrupted. "If what the woman said it true, then it would be no point or reason for her to have anything go down at the party. If Isabella can't sense her around, I'll trust her. We should go out Mandy. We…deserve this." Harvey said.
"I say we stay here."
"And I say…we go have some fun." Ahana said as she wrapped her arm around Harvey's shoulders.
"Tsk. You really just don't get it, do you?" Mandy sai as she scolded Ahana. "Aw, what the hell! Learn to have fun, Mandy."
"NO! I've already been though enough in my life to even care about that! Joey told us to stay and for a good reason! I don't think because the cursed soldier left is gonna stop to why they want all the souls!"
"She gave up on the plan…yo damn idiot-"
"ENOUGH!!" Harvey yelled. "Mandy, we will only be there for an hour. We will return before Joey comes back. You have my word."

5:30pm….
Joey and Rose walked up the creek river and could see a huge water fall ahead. "How the hell is this here?" Joey asked as they approached, the sound of the powerful water hitting against the ground felt as though it made the ground shake.
"Perfect!!" Rose laughed as she began taking off her clothes. "Let's get in!!" She laughed. Rose took off running and dove into the water. Joey looked around, confused on what was going on.
"Get in! I just wanted a quick time alone with you, Lucas" Rose laughed as she splashed water on Joey. Joey was about to take off his shirt, but he heard a twig snap behind him. As Rose laughed and played in the water, he was sure someone was approaching her laughter.
"Rose…be quiet please."
Rose immediately stopped and looked at Joey confused. "What is it Lucas?" She asked. It wen quiet…real quiet. "Rose. You're about to find out I'm not some normal kid. I'm sorry for what you're about to see." Joey said.
"Lucas…you're scaring me-"
"Welp…looks like we hit the jackpot!" A voice said from the woods. A tall, very muscular man wearing a dark blue vest, showing off his amazingly shaped 8-pack, white jeans that looked fluffy, and white flip-flops. A girl walked behind him, she walked close with her very light blue eyes locking with Joey's. "I'll call-"
"No need, Wraith! I'll handle this. We need to insure that they party will be clear and save of jinns trying to cause negative energy in the area. I'll regroup with you guys in 15 minutes tops!" Kai said as he walked towards Joey. "A-are you sure?!" Wraith asked.
"Positive!" Kai replied. Wraith opened a portal and looked at Joey while stepping through. (That's Joey castle? Why…dis he feel so familiar?) she thought as she left.
"Joey Castle!" Kai said as he stopped walking and studied the situation. "Who's this girl with you?" Kai asked as he looked over Joey and looked at Rose. "A friend." Joey replied.
"Now, now, I'm asking her. Not you."
"I'm Rose. A friend of Lucas." She said. "Umm…what's going on?" Rose asked, as she got out of the water and put on her pants.
"Oh…he gave you a fake name, huh? No, ma'am. This guys name is Joey. Joey Castle. A fugitive on the run." Kai explained.
"Huh? You…you lied to me?" Rose asked. "Rose…I need you to listen and trust me. Everything will make sense and I'll explain everything. I promise. Please, don't listen to him!"
"I mean, am I lying? You did tell her your name was Lucas. And you are wanted by th corporation…right?"
"That's true, but I only lied so we wouldn't blow cover." Joey said.
"We?" Oh, you must mean Ahana? Intresting. It would seem…this girl is around your age. Hell, probably the same age. Did you two meet…at a school?"
"That's enough questions." Joey said as he began to flex his body, preparing to use his jinn energy. "Rose, I need you to go somewhere and wait for me to come get you. You're about to know…the real me."
"O-okay." Rose said as she picked up her shirt and hid somewhere in the woods. "I'll take what I learned here today and use it to find your sister…after I capture you of course." Kai said as a wide smile came across his face. Kai reached behind his back and pulled out a music box. "You like music, Joey?! What's your type?"
"Enough of the bull. Are we getting this on or not?"
"Don't be so fast for an ass whooping. I'm simply asking what music do you like."
"…well, if I had to guess…I'd go with Rock music?"
"Hmm…nah, don't bring that here. What a shame. I guess…we're gonna have to go with the king of pop himself! Usually I'll bring rock with me, but I forgot it. Give me one second, okay?" Kai asked as he pulled out a large case full of CDs.
"Michael Jackson!!! Song name: bad. That's my jam! If you last long enough, the sped up version will start playing also. You ready to throw down, Joey Castle?"
(What's with this guy? Is he messing around with me or something? But…the one thing that stands out the most if his music box. That thing is fuming with jinn energy. That's definitely his jinn weapon. Very unique.)
Kai put in the CD, the song began to play, spreading out through the entire woods, as the energy surrounded the whole area. Kai began bopping his head. "Awww yeah!!! That's my stuff!!" Kai said as he began jumping up and down while stretching his arms.
Joey did his best to not also following along, wanting to move his head to the song.
"Well I guess the sky's the limit, and to me that's really true!" Kai sang while moving his legs now.
At exactly 1:10 into the song, the beat had dropped, Michael's voice picked up, and Kai seemingly teleported in front of Joey, landing a very powerful punch that sent Joey flying through the woods. The impact of the punch caused th waterfall to splash everywhere, making a rain-like affect.
As Joey was flung through the woods, he looked down to see a fist marking caved into his chest. (That speed…it's…is he faster than Jodi?!)
Joey quickly latched onto a tree and swung himself towards Kai. Kai was already coming at him full speed.
(I can't hit him head on! I have to move!) Joey thought as he used another nearby tree to change his trajectory, giving him a bounce-like image of him moving through the woods with incredible speeds.
Kai stopped, planting his foot into the earth, trying to focus on Joey while Joey kept maintaining high speeds.
(That punch was supposed to pierce him. I really tried to grab his heart and rip it out, but he's very durable! Then again, I shouldn't kill him, so I'm glad he's a tuff one!)
Kai stomped his foot into the ground, making his energy burst out and push all of the trees away. Joey was no where in sight as Kai looked around. (Above!) Kai jolted his head up to see the leg of Joey.
Kai quickly used both his arms to block the kick, creating a small crater in the ground from impact. (He blocked it?! His physicality is off the charts. This isn't a normal slayer!) Joey used Kai's arms to backflip off of him, giving high ground. Joey used his jinn energy and put it around his fist.
(His output an energy levels are low. What's up with that?) Joey thought as he dashed at Kai.
"Woah!" Kai laughed as he dodged Joey's barrage of punches and kicks. Kai grabbed Joey's leg as Joey threw a kick. "You're actually…not half bad, Joey! You'll make a good opponent, man!" Kai laughed as he threw Joey across the woods again.
As Joey was falling through the woods, Kai used his speed to go behind Joey and slammed him into the ground. Joey responded with a large wave of jinn energy that knocked Kai back. (His energy is too low to even-) Joey looked to see Kai as forced his body to stop by utilizing his jinn energy.
(Nah. Something's wrong.) Joey took a fighting stance. Kai's eyes widened slightly as he copied Joey's exact poster and stance. He event matched Joey's breathing. Suddenly, it had happened.
Suddenly and seemingly out of nowhere, Kai's energy shot up an far exceeded Joey's. "What the hell?!" Joey yelled as powerful winds clouded over his voice. "Let's turn up the heat!!" Kai yelled as th music grew louder than before. Joey got to his feet and ran at Kai. (I had to shut this down and fast! This energy is unreal!!)
Joey pulled his right arm back, but he noticed Kai had already do so, landing a brutal jab that knocked Joey back. (A lag?! A time lag?!) Joey thought as he planted his feet and tried to throw another punch, But Kai shifted to the right, exactly where Joey planned on moving, and kicked Joey in the stomach.
Kai's jinn slayer ability: Mirror.
If Kai manages to follow the exact movements, breathing, heart beat, ect, of the opponent…his ability is activated.
"Match my moves, Joey!!" Kai yelled as he began dancing in a very unique way. Kai jumped on his back and used his shoulders to jump his body up and down while on the ground. He jumped up and finished with a stance that was awkward.
Joey got up and tried to use his jinn energy, but quickly felt something off. (I'm…I'm stuck…in place-)
"Time for the beat down of the century!!" Kai yelled as he flew at Joey and beat on him for approximately 13 seconds. Kai finished off his assault by putting jinn energy into his hand and slapping Joey across the ground.
Joey immediately jumped up and wiped his mouth. "Tsk." He said as he pulled out one of Ahana's swords. "Ahahaha! Oh, yeah!!! He brought a sword to a fist fight!" Kai laughed. Joey used his speed to seemingly teleport behind Kai. Kai used his jinn energy to block the sword, not even turning around to react.
(His energy is that durable?! From what? The box?!)
Joey turned around and ran towards the music box. Kai ran beside him, as the two began dodging and throwing different attacks while running through the trees.
Joey could see it again. Kai pretended as if he held a sword, matched Joey's eyes, breathing, ect.
Kai was now low to the ground, where Joey planned on moving. There it was, another fraction of a second lag in time.
Joey was tripped, hitting the ground hard. He turned his eyes to see a fist headed towards his head. Joey rolled over to avoid the deadly punch.
Joey pushed off of the ground and tried to bring his sword down towards Kai's neck. Kai teleported behind Joey and landed another kick that crashed Joey into a nearby tree. "Again! Keep up, Joey!" Kai yelled as he began to moonwalk perfectly.
"Go!" Kai said as Joey ignored him and tried to attack him once again. (It's like my own energy…is damaging me from the inside! What's his ability? Do I…hav to copy his movements?)
Joey was frozen once again. Kai's energy grew higher along with his physical status. Kai wailed on Joey once again, almost knocking him out this time.
Kai's jinn weapon: Amped up music box.
Kai's jinn slayer ability: Mirror.
Kai's mirror ability is activated when he matches the movements and many other things that his opponent does. It's a skill only he can do…because he's lucky. Once caught in the loop of mirror, Kai must follow your next 12 actions and follow them perfectly. The idea when fighting Kai is to be unpredictable as possible, but, even then, Kai has never been wrong. When following your movements, Kai will then see the future only a fraction of a second ahead to see where you'll move. If Kai hits you with his "time lag" by following your 12 movements, you'll have to then match Kai's movements. This part of his ability is called: the harmony zone.
In the harmony zone, if you fail to match Kai's movements, this will freeze your body completely for a total of 13 seconds. In this time frame, Kai can do as he pleases, damaging his opponent.
There are other things Kai can utilize with his ability. If you enter the harmony zone more than three times with Kai, you'll then trigger the full effect of his ability. Such conditions begin to happen.
"The perfect counter." Allowing Kai to have a guaranteed, perfectly timed counterstrike that uses a jinns or humans jinn energy against them to injure or blind them.
A temporary nullification area that suppresses abilities of jinns or people.
If one is able to survive all that, then comes the ability: pact of reflection. This takes place after the perfect counter stage. This allows Kai to use a jinns energy or the persons energy and add it to his own. Making him stronger.
No one has ever made it to the true ultimate attack of Kai's ability. For now it is simply…unknown. Even amongst his teacher, Obilisk.
Amped up music box. Kai's jinn weapon. The box acted as an amplification for jinn energy. Kai's jinn energy. Once the music starts, Kai's energy is at a very low output. But every second, every beat, every sound…increases Kai's energy and his power. Possibly even giving him enough energy to fully begin utilizing his jinn energy. You can't destroy the box, as it is…unbreakable.
Kai uses the box as a source of power and…entertainment for his jinn slayer ability. Once the box reaches full speed an maximum sound, this is called the "maximum output zone.", where any damage done to Kai is healed instantly, large amounts of jinn energy, access to more jinn energy-based attacks, and enough energy to overwhelm the opponent's jinn energy.
Due to Joey now being hit with Kai's harmony zone twice already, all Kai had to do was land one more to enter the perfect counter zone. The music grew louder and louder, still playing on the first song at normal speed. Joey knew something was wrong, but it was too much for him to think about. (It can't be that simple. Let's say that I do have to copy his movements in order to not give him that open window, what will happen if I actually manage to copy his moves? Does that give me control and make it my turn for Kai to copy mine? Not that it matters, there's no way I can follow his movements when he has to showcase the moves for me to follow! I have to be unpredictable. Weird. Greedy….)
Joey slammed his foot into the ground, with his back leg slightly bent downward, his arms flexed passes their limits, and began to hold his breath.
(Ahh…I get it. He has some idea of how my ability works. Smart kid, I'll give him that. He's trying to do unusual movements and actions within the interior and exterior of his body.) Kai thought as Kai copied his exact pose. (Come on, Kai. Use your jinn energy! Look deeper…within!) Kai thought as jinn energy was surrounding his eyes.
Kai could use his jinn energy to view every single detail within Joey's body. (He stopped breathing and is flexing his arms. I can tell from how they are contracting!)
Kai matched everything Jeoy did perfectly. "Oh, yeah!!" Kai laughed as he dashed at Joey, leaving a jinn energy trail behind him. While Kai ran at him again, Joey had entered deep thinking. (Unpredictable! Think!)
(He's gonna go for it…ain't he?!) Kai thought as Kai leaned his head backwards. Joey had also done the same, as the two collided their heads together. Their energies collided together. Joey's red energy pushed against Kai's purple energy. "That all you got?" Kai asks as he began to press harder against Noey's skull.
"Just getting started!" Joey responded as he clapped his hands together, Kai also doing it at the exact sam time. The two seemingly teleported into the air and began throwing the exact same punches, each punch an collision causing shockwaves.
Using the flow of Joey's energy from the inside of his body to read his movement, Kai had successfully…proceeded to the next step of his ability: the counter zone.
As the battle raged on, it was now 5:40. People at the large party were already flooding the streets and filling up the area in front of the large black stage. Ahana and Harvey were amongst the crowd of people, blending in perfectly with the overwhelming numbers.
"There has to be at least 5,000 people here!" Harvey laughed. The two had been playing games and had just reached the street where the singing would take place.
"Tonight has been…something!" Harvey sighed with relief.
"Ahaha! I told you it would be fun!!" Ahana laughed.

(He's countering everything I throw!) Joey thought as th music had only grew louder and faster, increasing the speed of Kai's movements.
Joey was bleeding from his head, as Kai grabbed him by the shirt an threw him to the side. Kai held out on finger, as a ball of purple energy formed at the tip. "My energy output just keeps on going up!!!" Kai laughed as he dropkicked Joey to the ground, then grabbing Joey by his hair and launching him into the air. "Delaying strike…purple pressur point!" The ball of energy was now above Joey, knocking him back towards the ground.
Kai bent down, building up energy around his right hand, ready to deal the finishing blow. "What a waste of time. I didn't even get to fully go all out on you, Joey." Kai said with disappointment in his voice.
As Joey was falling…he could feel some of his energy being stripped away from him, as it was now being added to Kai's.
(It ain't….over yet. This guy is amazing. I'm…I'm somewhat blessed…an glad to have ran into such a person. Right now…more than ever…I…have to surpass my limits. I know it's hard…but I have to awaken it!) Joey thought as he opened his eyes.
Kai threw the punch, as Joey's body disappeared in thin air. The air was calm and cold. A sharp chill ran down the spine of Kai. Kai's eyes widened from shock. He turned his head to see Joey covered in a black and red energy, two horns were fully formed at the top of Joey's head, his eyes were red. "This kid…" Kai said as Joey took a deep breath and said: "DEMON FOOORM!!!!!"
Kai used both his arms to block the debris from hitting him. Kai laughed and smiled as Joey's energy had completely sky rocketed. "Amazing!! This…is what I call a fight, JOEY!!!"
(I can't stay in this for long. I only have 30 seconds to end this and now!! I won't be able to win against Kai and his ability with my normal jinn energy. We've gotta go demon energy instead!) Joey thought as he began to build up large amounts of energy.
(I can feel my jinn slayer ability slipping? No, not that. It has no affects on Joey! It's because of his demon form. It possesses no jinn energy, but demon energy! Therefore, no rules or anything jinn energy related has effects on Joey!)
"In that case….I'M GONNA RELEASE IT ALL!!!!" Kai yelled as th music played louder, completely surrounding his body with overwhelming amounts of energy and a boost in physical stats. Kai absorbed all the energy he could.
"LETS TURN UP THE HEAT!!!"
Joey and Kai both locked eyes, as their energies shot high into the sky and bursting through the clouds.
"Aaauuuuggghhh!!!!"
"Rrrauuuuuggghhh!!"
(20 seconds left! End it! End it now!!!) Joey noticed a purple wave of energy headed towards him. Joey leaped into the air and jumped high into the sky.
Kai used his speed to catch up an the two exchanged blows that was enough to kill any other slayer who wasn't as durable as the two of them.
Joey tried to land a reverse elbow, but Kai moved away. The two went in close and both landed devastating jabs to each other's faces.
At the exact same time, the two of them landed on the ground, their feet centered underneath each other.
Joey on the opposite side of the area, while Kai was on the other. Kai put his hands together and had begun building up all of the jinn energy he had collected.
(Ten seconds left! Finish it now!!) Joey thought as he slammed his hands together and pulled them back to his side. "I HAVE TO DO THIS!!!" Joey yelled. The sound of powerful winds, the electric energy, the loud music in the background. Everything had come together for this very moment. "I WIN, JOEY!!!!" Kai laughed as he released the massive ball of energy towards Joey.
"DEMON…BEAM!!!"
The attacks collided together, creating a mini tornado-like scene.
"Yuuuuuaaaggghhhhh!!!!!"
"Aaauugghhhhhhhh!!!!!!"
The two yelled, as a bright light covered the whole area.

6pm.
Joey's body was tired to the point he could barley stand. He managed to carry Rose to a save place, on a high mountain to which you could see the entire party. Rose had said nothing, just had a stunned look on her face.
"Lucas…what exactly are you? I've never-"
"I can't explain it right now. I'm sorry you had to see that. We'll talk more about it after I handle this situation that's about to go down. I need to…." Joey collapsed and fell to his knees.
Rose got up and tried to help him up. (Kai was too damn strong. Idiot! Even after the clash…I had just enough time and strength left to knock him out. The bastard didn't even fall down! He just…stood there standing unconscious. What a maniac.)
Joey thought as he gathered himself and began walking.
"Lucas…don't leave! You can't! I have so many questions!" Rose shouted. "Rose, don't worry about me. I can't just-"
"Please, listen to me, Joey." Rose said in a much more calm and smooth tone. (A fake voice?!) Joey's eyes had horror in them, as he turned his head an saw Rose standing with her hands behind her back. "Joey…I'm sorry, but I don't want you to go. I…don't want you to face the same fate as those people down there, okay?" Rose said.
"Rose, what's with this sudden change in tone?" Joey asked in a shaken breath. "Are you scared, Joey?" Rose asked.
"Tsk! I wanna know what's going on!! What's wrong here?! Why the sudden shift in voice and tone?!"
"Joey…I'm…a cursed soldier."
If feel like Joey was hit by a semi truck. Joey fell back down. "W-wha-b-b-but you're-you-can't-"
"I'm sorry…that you have to find out like this. Polenta did a great job playing her role. She acted as the cursed soldier. She was the jinn that possessed the ability to see into the future of a selected person who she imagines or thinks of their name. Once I ran into you, I knew you were the "Lucas" I was looking for. I'm so sorry, Joey. But…Ahana and Harvey are going to die tonight, but don't worry, you're going to live. We can finally be together. Don't you get it?"
Joey didn't reply, he just sat on the ground with a defeated look on his face. "The other cursed soldier. He is someone I've shared coordinates with, showing him where and when to be. He will arrive any second and slaughter all of the people down there in th blink of an eye. I don't want that to happen to you, Joey. But…there is something I need, okay?" Rose walked towards Joey, as she revealed her now flower root-like arm. "I need to kill you for only a moment. So I can seal you inside of me. I'm going to consume your soul, then place you inside of the chamber the mighty clan had made for you." Rose explained as she walked towards Joey. Joey put his hand up, but it was immediately removed in the blink of an eye. "Just…just wait, Rose-"
"Please, don't make this harder then it already is."
"Rose, wait-"
Joey was slashed across his chest, his head hitting against the ground. Joey was laying on his back as Rose now stood over him. "I know it hurts. It's okay. Let me…free you from your suffering." Rose said as she got on both her knees and opened her mouth, revealing a mouth full of flower-like roots, thorns, and lots of Sylvia.
"Shhh…let me…take from you…it's ok-"
Suddenly, a large bullet had went through the side of Rose's mouth.
From very very far away, with a new an improved jinn weapon from intense training, was Natalia who landed the shot. "I finally…found our damn idiot." Natalia said while holding back her tears. "I could never forget you, Joey." She said in a shaking voice.
Rose immediately looked in Natalie's direction. "Tsk. You…idiot!" Rose yelled in anger. Rose looked down to see Joey had vanished.
"Eeeekkkk!!!!" Rose slammed her fist into the ground and yelled in rage. "JOEY!!!!" Rose yelled at the top of her lungs, half of her face revealed to be a rooted flesh. A monstrous form indeed.

Ahana and Harvey danced the night away. Both enjoying their time and laughing. "Wanna know something, Harvey?" Ahana asked as she spun around.
"Hmm?"
"I think…it's time you got to meet the real me. My names Ahana. Ahana Castle." Ahana said as she used her jinn energy to not hide her blue hair anymore. "This is…the real me." Ahana admitted.
"I was waiting on you to tell me your name was Ahana. I heard it before, I just wanted to be respectful and call you Isabella until you told me to stop or something. But…you're stunning. And I remember you saying something about you always being a problem? How you're not a good person? None of that is true, Ahana. You…you saved me. You saved a nerd who was cursed and you didn't even need to. You're truly…my blessing."
Ahana's face turned red as she tried to hide her smile. "Harvey…th-thank you."
"Thank me?! No, thank you! For everything." Harvey said with a smile.
Just as Ahana was about to say something else, she noticed a pink flower petal slowly floated in the distance behind Harvey. There were multiple, as people all around looked up at the petals that fell from the sky. Suddenly, while Ahana was looking up at the night sky, blood shot across Ahana's face, as there were now screams and people running all around the place.
Ahana looked straight ahead to find Harvey nowhere….until she looked down to see blood gushing from his head and a hole that traveled through it.
Ahana looked down and could only utter the word…
"Huh?"
"Petal bullets." Malice whispered.
