"It's been a while, Aiko sensei," Cloud said as he crossed his legs and looked carefully at the teacher, who was averting her gaze, which confused him because this hadn't happened before.
What he didn't know, was that by reuniting with his past, he had relaxed and was now easier to interact with, unlike before where he seemed to be fighting something constantly.
"Y-Yes, it's been a while since we last spoke" - Aiko replied as she coughed to change the subject - "How has your trip been? "
"Normal, touring interesting places, fighting monsters, and meeting strange people" - Cloud said as he shrugged - "But we can save that for another time because we have something much more important to talk about"
"I know, Amanogawa-kun" - replied Aiko with a frown - "I still can't believe that someone as good as him, ended up in such a cruel way"
"That's life, Aiko sensei, people change depending on their experiences" - replied Cloud while shaking his head - "I wasn't referring to that though, but rather to our ticket home"
"!" - Aiko's eyes widened like saucers when she heard this as she jumped in front of the blond and grabbed him by the shoulders - "Are you serious!"
"Yes, there's nothing to be gained by lying to you, Aiko sensei," Cloud replied with surprise that this reaction was too much of an overreaction, although after some thought it made sense. Aiko had been carrying the weight of her students' lives on her shoulders, and what was worse, she had already failed more than once - "I need one or two days to be able to create an object that can connect the two dimensions"
Aiko nodded firmly as a huge smile of happiness appeared on her delicate lips - "I'm going to warn the others!"
"Ok" - Cloud nodded as he watched the teacher leave the room.
"Are you serious, Cloud?" - Kaori asked with surprise and excitement, after all, she missed her family too.
"Yes, when we all get together I'm going to explain the situation of why I lost my ability to use the ancient magics for a few moments" - Cloud said as he shook his head - "Although there are other things we need to talk about, such as the presence of a certain god so close to our most vulnerable companions"
Kaori's expression changed when she heard this because she was still a little upset about this situation. She quickly contacted the others to let them know that the blond had woken up, which had them showing up in her room in record time.
"It's good to see that everyone is okay, though I don't see Alva anywhere" - Cloud said as he frowned.
The girls were surprised when they heard this, so they quickly looked to Kaori for answers, though she simply shook her head, as if telling them that she hadn't informed him of the situation.
Cloud quickly explained how he had been conscious the whole time, which made the girls blush, especially Yue and Meiru, who had done something somewhat promiscuous to get the blond's essence.
"Leaving that aside, I'm sure you have a lot of questions, so I'll get straight to the point" - Cloud said seriously as he looked at each of the girls present - "When I got the last ancient magic, these started to react and merged into a single magic that allows me to use the others, that's why I couldn't use my abilities during the last battle"
"That's what I wanted to ask you" - Meiru said with a frown - "What was it that happened? "
Cloud was silent for a few seconds before explaining what had happened, the appearance of the [Dream Devourer], his abilities, how the battle had gone, and finally his new power.
"Concept?" - Meiru repeated in surprise, though she quickly became excited to hear the result of the blending of all her group's abilities - "Sounds interesting."
"Interesting? This is fucking unbalanced!" - Lyutillis exclaimed while frowning - "Interfering directly with the laws and concepts that define a world, is extremely dangerous, especially since you don't know what kind of chaos you might cause"
The girls looked carefully at the elven princess.
"I understand what you're trying to say" - Yue said as she crossed her legs and looked around, noticing how no one except for Lyutillis seemed to understand how dangerous Cloud's ability was - "Think about it calmly.... What would happen if Cloud lost control or was corrupted, and he decided to use his new ability to completely erase the concept of oxygen?"
The girls blanched after hearing that example
Cloud simply frowned because he hadn't thought of this, in fact, his plan was to simply use this ability to remove the biggest disadvantage he would have on worlds, but now that Yue had laid this detail bare, he had to admit that he would now have to think better about using his abilities
"There are many ways to break a world with this ability, Cloud, so it's best you don't use it unless it's extremely necessary" - Yue said with concern because even though the blond wasn't a person with low morals, she understood that power could corrupt people, more so when the blond was basically god
Cloud was silent as he looked down at his hands with a frown
For the first time in his entire journey through [Source], he felt fear, not for himself, but for his allies. This power was too much, to the point that if he screwed up or misused it, the lives of his recruits would end without him being able to do anything about it.
"I see you finally became aware of your power" - Lyutillis said with a frown - "I share Yue-san's opinion, you don't have to use that power lightly, or at least your ability to erase the concepts of the world, the other part of his power is annoying, but controllable, you just have to think carefully before using it"
Cloud nodded, though he quickly shook his head - "We'd better change the subject, I heard everything you talked about with Alba, so no need to explain, though I'd like to know where that god is"
"It's hidden in the deepest part of [Orcus], we left it there because it's safer, after all, we can't let Umbra devour it" - Tio replied while folding her arms - "And relax, we made sure to keep all the important information for us, as well as the most precious items"
Cloud nodded before starting to discuss the last important matter - "Ok, it's time to talk about how we can return to our old world"
Kaori and Shizuku remained silent while the other girls in the group simply kept quiet.
"I have an idea on how we can get the others to come back" - Cloud continued seriously.
"The others? Does that mean you won't be going with them?" - Lyutillis asked with surprise.
"Of course I'll stay, I still have a few scores to settle with Ehit" - Cloud replied while frowning - "Not to mention that we can't let that son of a bitch stay alive or he might cause us a lot more trouble than we think"
Lyutillis and Meiru let out a sigh of relief because this was the best thing for them, after all, if Cloud went to their other dimension, then all their efforts would have been for nothing.
Kaori and Shizuku looked at each other, frowning at this because they were confused. They wanted to see their families, but they also didn't want to leave the blond behind when he was about to face a god.
"Kaori, Shizuku, I want you guys back" - Cloud said as he looked at the two girls, who simply couldn't accept it - "Listen, I'm not saying this because I don't trust you or because I think you're weak, but because I need someone to support Remia and Myu-chan in our world"
The two girls were silent when they heard this before looking at Remia, who simply opened her mouth - "Me too?"
"Yeah, I can't send Myu-chan alone to my world, not to mention that our next battles will be getting worse and worse, which means I'm going to have less time to be able to protect them, that's not to mention the fact that our opponents aren't going to play fair" - Cloud continued while frowning.
Remia bit her lip before nodding.
Cloud's words were true, and even if it bothered her, she had to admit it. In regards to pure power, she was the weakest of the group, to the point that she would be the most likely victim in a kidnapping attempt.
"Lyutillis, I want you to go with them too" - Cloud said seriously.
"What!" - Lyutillis exclaimed with a mixture of annoyance and surprise - "Why!"
"Because we need someone who can block Ehit's dimensional summoning, in case he tries to take hostages from my world" - Cloud answered seriously - "We can't let that son of a bitch have any more pieces to stop us!"
