"Cool, now say those words again without hiding behind Emilia." The Great Spirit of Fire said with a glare directed towards me, so I had Emilia use Meat Shield!
"Don't wanna, Emilia here seems like a super nice person and I want to spend more time with her!" I declared with my finger pointing upwards and my other hand on the half elf's shoulder.
"Mister is right! Emilia is super nice." Subaru from the side said with a sagely nod as she appeared beside me.
"You two, I'm flattered but can you please stop hiding behind me?" The white haired elf said with a huff as she turned to face us with her hands on her hips and her cheeks puffed out with an adorable pout. EMT!
"And again, tell us who you are." Puck said again with a glare, man he's persistent.
"Hmm, my name is Aladdin. I'm a wandering mage."
"And what is a wandering mage doing in slums, right during the time someone tried to kill Emilia... and Subaru too I guess."
"Why is it that the danger to my life a mere afterthought?!" Subaru cried out.
"Hmm, it's because I felt a disturbing energy around here." I said with a shrug.
"Really now? Cause I am the great spirit of fire and I felt no such thing." Puck said menacingly as his eyes glowed an eerie emerald, looking like he was considering the best way to orchestrate my death. To which I had only one response.
"Emilia Emilia, are you sure that you weren't scammed when it came to your contract? This great spirit seems to only talk about things he can't do." I asked to white haired girl with my hand beside my mouth as I sent some glances in Puck's way, who was starting to let out a literal cold aura that started to freeze the area around him and a vein bulging on his forehead.
"You little..." He started to growl but before he could start threatening me with several grotesque possible futures he had envisioned, we were interrupted.
"Sis and other sis! I brought help!" A small girl, likely not over fourteen unless some sort of anime bs, with blond hair and wearing clothes that would put whoever made her wear them in jail. Following after her was a young man with red hair that one couldn't identify as anything other than handsome and following after him was a man that was far too tall for this world, as in he would be at average height in One Piece, with very long and bushy eyebrows and a bald head.
"Huh? Where's that crazy bitch?" The small child asked as she looked around; only to see a ruined building with a flying cat, a girl in a tracksuit, an half elf girl and an awesome magician of great power standing in the middle of the destroyed warehouse with no sexy deranged murderers in sight.
"Hmm, and who is this adorable little lady?" I asked with a smile as I leaned down and then leaned to the side in order to dodge a spear hand strike from the 'adorable little lady'.
"Who the hell are you calling 'adorable lady'?! You wanna get butchered?!" She yelled as she tried to strike me again and again to no avail, rather adorable really.
"Miss Felt, please calm down." And there comes the redheaded knight in shining coat.
"Why?! For all we know this guy is with that psycho bitch with knives!"
"If he was with the Bowel Hunter then neither lady Emilia or miss... Subaru I believe, would be so calm around him." Reinhard said, I knew there was a reason I liked this overpowered dude.
"But that does leave us with the question of where she is, can you answer that please?"
"Oh, Aladdin here blew her away!" Subaru said with a smile as she threw her arm on my shoulder, or tried to since she was a bit too short to do so; which likely made an awkwardly adorable sight.
"Truly? Then she is..."
"Still alive." I cut the hopeful tone of the knight off, no sense in letting them have a false hope.
"I saw that she was slowly regenerating and she isn't where my attack sent her. She likely ran away while I was healing these two." I said as I placed Subaru down from my shoulder.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure we were about to kick the bucket if it wasn't for him." Subaru said with a laugh but I could see the smallest amount of tremors of her body, a little side effect of possessing the Six Eyes of Satoru, she was throwing her trauma into the back of her mind; repressing them.
"I see. Then I must thank you, mister Aladdin." Reinhard said with a bow, how can a guy this overpowered and yet so humble exist?!
"No need, I ended up letting her escape anyway." I told him the truth, I could have properly captured the assassin after all. But this way opened up more fun possiblities for me.
"Here." Oh, while I was thinking Felt bad brought up the insignia she stole and gave it back to Emilia.
"Make sure to hold tight onto it. This thing seem important after all, don't let it get stolen."
"Hearing those words from the person who actually stole it makes me kinda mad." Emilia said with a pout as she took the insignia back, not noticing the glow it was emitting in Felt's hand.
"It can't be." Unlike the overpowered redheaded by my side.
"Huh, what's the matter?" Felt asked as Reinhard walked up to her.
"I sincerely apologize, but I need you to come with me."
"The hell? Why would I do that?" The blonde girl took a step back with a weirded out look while the bald giant walked behind her, hovering over her protectively.
"My apologies, but this is urgent." Reinhard said as he raised his palm over Felt's face and that was when I made my move.
"Flash!" A bright ray of light erupted from the palm of my hand, making Reinhard jump back in order to avoid.
"What are you?"
"Stay away from her." I said with a glare as I stood between Reinhard and Felt with my hand outstretched as if ready fo attack at a moment's notice while laughing internally at what I was doing and the look of shock on everyone else's faces as I continued.
"You pedophile!"
