"John! Honey, John!"
John sat up right with a groggy feeling in his head. "Huh!" he gasped quickly for air.
"What happened to you?" his mother asked, worried. She wiped his son's forehead which was ticking with cold sweat. "You looks like you've been running."
"Mom!" John flung his arms around his mother's neck. "I thought you left me with that empty taxi again!"
John then told her about why happened to him in his dream or nightmare. She listened to him attentively and asked questions when she noticed him talking out of context.
"Where are we, mom?" he asked, roaming his sight around the room. The room was clean and empty.
"We're in a hotel," she answered, running her sight around as well. "When we were in the taxi, you fell asleep."
John nodded in understanding. "More like it. Thanks, mom!"
They two agreed to have dinner in a hope of a restaurant nearby. It was seven in the evening when John and his mother walked out of the hotel. They where chattering about the hope of eating delicious but affordable dishes offered by the imagenary restaurant in their mind. Though it's night and darkness was all over the vicinity, John had hope in him because he was with his mother and he has God. He believed in them and that's all matters. Not too long, the mother and son duo found an ordinary eatery. They entered the place and ordered their wanting after the waiter asked and told them the available dishes offered by their eatery. They two eat happily and discussed when we're they meet his father. His mother felt like depositing her food so she went to the restroom. John was left alone that made him tremble a little bit reminded himself of God.
Suddenly when the violet juice he was drinking turned red, his face turned pale. He looked around and no one was there anymore. It was like they all disappeared from his oblivion. He craned his neck to look for the open window or the door, but all was closed and they were all thick steel that blocked his sight from the vast of the horizon. His heart hammered loudly as he stood up, trembling, to look for his mother. He checked the restroom for women but she was neither in the first cubicle nor in the middle and the last. Everything turned cold when the door of the restroom closed in a loud thud. He felt his heart hammered multiplied. The lights began to flicker, the waters began on and off, he then began to shiver. He rubbed his arms by his crossed arms by his palms. He couldn't utter a single word 'cause he felt that he has sore throat and was unable to speak that made him to cough and choke his own saliva.
