Sorry for the delay over the last few days, guys.

"I, Jack." Jack said lightly.

"Jack?" Tony's brow furrowed beneath the iron mask. The name stirred something faint and distant in his memory, like a half-forgotten melody echoing from years ago. He had heard it somewhere — perhaps in a report, a database, a passing conversation — yet he couldn't grasp it. His instincts, however, tightened. Anyone who walked onto his stage uninvited was either a fool… or a problem.

The crowd below the stage erupted into noise.

"Tony, blast him!"

"Turn into Iron Man!"

"How dare he act so arrogantly in front of you!"

Their voices merged into a chaotic wave of excitement, outrage, curiosity. Smartphones lifted into the air like metallic flowers blooming, capturing every second. Security personnel struggled against an invisible force, muscles straining uselessly, confusion written across their faces.

Tony stared at Jack.

"You know my father, Howard?"

"Naturally." Jack smiled as he walked closer, his steps calm, unhurried, completely at odds with the tension saturating the hall. "From the moment I saw your father's eyes, I knew. A man who loved showing off. That particular talent seems to have passed beautifully to you. Though honestly…" He stopped directly before Tony. "You've surpassed the teacher."

A ripple of uneasy laughter moved through parts of the audience.

Tony tilted his head slightly.

"And how's the champagne?"

Jack casually lifted the glass he had taken earlier and drank.

"It feels very good."

"Hateful brat!"

"What trick did you use?!"

"Untie us!"

Several immobilized guards shouted angrily, veins bulging with effort. Their frustration mixed with fear. Nothing terrified trained professionals more than losing control of their own bodies.

Tony exhaled slowly.

"It seems today we've encountered a terrorist." His voice was smooth, confident, polished for spectacle. "Someone bold enough to appear openly at the Stark Expo. Fortunately for everyone here…"

He spread his arms.

"…I'm prepared."

With a mechanical whirring sound, the manipulator platform beneath his feet rose. Metallic components unfolded like petals of engineered precision. The Iron Man armor assembled around him piece by piece — chest plate, shoulder locks, gauntlets sealing with crisp clicks.

"Iron Man!"

"Iron Man!"

"Iron Man!"

The chant thundered through the hall, shaking the air.

Encased now, Tony faced Jack again.

"You can still surrender. Otherwise, your next destination may be a prison cell."

Jack chuckled.

"Your iron sheet does look impressive. The feeling of acting pretentious must be quite crisp."

Tony grinned inside the helmet.

"Especially when punching someone like you face-first into the ground."

Jack shrugged.

"I've actually been considering stepping on you."

Tony turned slightly, addressing the crowd.

"Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to demonstrate how I deal with terrorists."

Cheers exploded.

"You can try," Jack said calmly.

Iron Man stepped forward.

"One punch. Six months in a hospital. Maybe a year."

His armored fist shot forward.

"Here it comes."

Jack's hand moved — effortless, precise.

He caught the fist.

Silence.

Tony's eyes widened inside the helmet.

"How…?"

"Why impossible?" Jack's eyes suddenly gleamed.

An invisible force erupted outward.

Bang!

Iron Man flew backward like a cannon-fired projectile, smashing violently into a massive stone pillar. Sparks scattered. Metal screeched. The impact reverberated like thunder trapped inside steel.

Gasps filled the hall.

People stared in disbelief.

Iron Man — the invincible hero — had been thrown aside like scrap.

Tony slowly rose, armor smoking, servos groaning under strain.

"Very good… very good." His voice darkened. "You've succeeded in angering me."

Inside the helmet:

"Jarvis, analyze that attack."

"Mister," Jarvis replied calmly, "the energy signature does not match any known physical weapon. It appears non-material. Analysis incomplete. Recommendation: caution."

Tony aimed his palm.

Energy gathered, humming with lethal brightness.

The beam fired.

Jack didn't move.

"Tony," he said lightly, "such tricks aren't worthy of showing off."

The beam halted mid-air — frozen.

Then reflected.

Bang!

Iron Man was blasted backward again.

Shock rippled through the crowd.

"What kind of power is this?!"

"This isn't possible!"

Jack raised his hand. Flames spiraled into existence, condensing into a massive fireball.

"Run!"

"Run!"

Panic detonated instantly. Thousands surged toward exits. Bodies collided. Screams tore through the air. Fear spread faster than fire.

Jack released the fireball.

Bang!

The explosion devoured the hall.

Flames roared, swallowing steel, glass, banners, dreams. Heat melted the ground itself. Some bodies vanished entirely — not burned, but liquefied by unbearable temperature.

Outside, sirens wailed.

Police units stormed in, weapons raised.

Gunfire erupted.

Jack vanished.

He reappeared beside Alice and Ada.

"This group of police — I'll leave them to you."

Officers scanned wildly.

"Where did he go?!"

"Boys," Alice's voice rang out coldly, "who exactly are you searching for?"

Gunfire answered.

Bang. Bang. Bang.

Alice and Ada fired mercilessly.

Tony staggered upright amid wreckage, witnessing chaos, smoke, carnage.

"Hateful… who are you… Jack…"

"Did you call daddy?" Jack's voice whispered behind him.

Tony spun.

Clang!

Jack's fist smashed into the helmet.

Tony flew, rolled, crashed.

The iron mask cracked loose and fell away.

Blood covered Tony's face.

Jack approached slowly.

"How does it feel now?"

Tony wiped blood, eyes blazing.

"It feels… very crisp."

Energy surged from his arc reactor.

Jack vanished — reappeared instantly.

He seized Tony's throat and lifted him effortlessly.

"Feeling small and weak?"

Tony struggled.

"You… will regret this…"

Jack dropped him.

Then stomped on the arc reactor.

"Regret?" Jack's voice turned cold. "No. Because what you represent can't make me regret anything. Struggle. Survive. Watch."

Tony's eyes burned with hatred.

Jack leaned closer.

"I won't kill you. Not yet. I'll make you watch Stark Industries collapse."

Inside Tony's gaze, something darker ignited — humiliation curdling into vengeance.

He would erase this man.

No matter the cost.
