Sorry for the delay over the last few days, guys.

The blade descended.

It was no longer merely a sword—it had become a line between existence and annihilation.

The elongated black greatsword cut through the sea like a falling star, its edge slicing water apart before it even arrived. Pressure exploded outward in a circular shockwave, compressing the surrounding ocean into a momentary vacuum.

The sea monster felt it.

For the first time since it had surfaced, fear appeared.

The massive body twisted violently, tentacles thrashing in panic as it tried to retreat deeper into the abyss. But the sword was faster. Much faster.

The blade struck.

There was no grand explosion at first—only a sound like the world itself tearing open.

A deep, low裂 sound echoed through the water, followed by a violent rupture. The sea monster's enormous body was split from head to core, the cut so clean it took a heartbeat for reality to catch up.

Then everything detonated.

Black blood erupted outward like an underwater volcano. The surrounding sea churned violently, waves surging upward as if the ocean itself were screaming. Ice above shattered in a cascading collapse, entire sheets breaking free and crashing down into the water.

The monster let out one final, distorted howl—half pain, half disbelief.

Its tentacles convulsed wildly, striking blindly in every direction. The massive mouth opened and closed repeatedly, teeth clashing uselessly as if trying to bite the blade that had already judged it.

Jack did not retreat.

He surged forward, gripping the sword tightly as he dragged it sideways, widening the wound. The sea monster's body finally gave way, torn apart by overwhelming force.

The corpse began to sink.

Slowly.

Heavily.

The ocean reclaimed it, swallowing the remains piece by piece. The turbulence faded, the water gradually calming, leaving only drifting blood and shattered ice fragments floating on the surface.

Jack hovered in the sea, motionless.

The massive Second-layered Form began to emit a low hum. Transformium particles loosened, peeling away from his armored frame like falling embers.

The long blade shortened, thinning and retracting until it returned to a more manageable form.

Jack exhaled slowly.

"Still not bad," he muttered. "Worth killing."

Two faint lights flickered within the sinking remains.

Jack's eyes narrowed.

"There you are."

He thrust his hand forward. Thought Power surged outward, invisible force piercing the depths. The sea monster's corpse jerked violently as something was torn free.

Two gems rose from the water.

One glowed with a deep, molten red, pulsing like a living heart. The other shimmered with a cold blue-white sheen, radiating frost and pressure.

Fire corpse gem.

Ice corpse gem.

Jack grasped both, feeling their energy thrumming against his palm. His lips curved upward slightly—not a smile, but something colder.

"Two down," he said quietly. "One left."

The Second-layered Form dissolved completely.

Transformium particles scattered, then flowed inward again, reshaping into Jack's human body. Steam rose from his skin as residual heat evaporated seawater clinging to him.

He teleported upward.

Jack reappeared on the shattered ice, boots crunching against fractured frost.

Ada stood not far away, frozen in place.

She had seen many things since the outbreak. Monsters, experiments, impossible weapons, even Wesker's twisted evolution.

But this…

This was on another level.

Jack walked toward her calmly, water dripping from his clothes, gems tucked away.

Ada stared at him for a long moment before speaking.

"…You really killed it."

Jack shrugged lightly. "It was loud."

Ada let out a slow breath she hadn't realized she was holding.

"That thing," she said quietly, "could have destroyed a fleet."

"And now it won't," Jack replied.

The ice beneath them groaned again, cracks spreading outward.

"Time to leave," Jack said, glancing toward the helicopter hovering at a distance. "Red Queen won't let this go."

As if on cue, the sky trembled.

A low-frequency vibration rolled across the ice field, accompanied by a distant mechanical hum. Ada stiffened.

"Something's coming."

Jack's eyes lifted, gaze piercing through fog and snow.

"Yes," he said softly. "She's angry."

Above the ice, clouds churned unnaturally, forming concentric rings as if something massive was moving beneath them. The temperature dropped rapidly. Frost crept along the ice like living veins.

From the distance, a mechanical voice echoed faintly through the air—cold, emotionless, omnipresent.

"Unauthorized variables detected. Subject Jack classified as extreme threat."

Ada clenched her fists. "Red Queen."

Jack smiled faintly.

"Finally speaking up?"

The helicopter wobbled as shockwaves rippled outward. Its pilot struggled to maintain position.

"Jack!" Alice's voice crackled over the comms. "We're losing stability!"

"I know," Jack replied calmly. "Get ready to move."

Another violent tremor shook the ice.

Then—something moved beneath it.

Not tentacles this time.

Something vast. Mechanical. Deliberate.

The ice split apart in a perfect circular pattern.

Metal rose from beneath the frozen sea.

A colossal structure emerged, black and silver, its surface etched with glowing red lines. Turrets unfolded along its sides. Massive limbs anchored themselves into the ice, stabilizing the platform.

Ada's face drained of color.

"That's not a monster…"

Jack's gaze sharpened.

"…That's a weapon."

The Red Queen's voice grew clearer, louder, resonating from the structure itself.

"Commencing containment protocol. Subject Jack—elimination authorized."

Dozens of weapon ports opened simultaneously.

Energy surged.

Jack rolled his shoulders slowly, eyes gleaming.

"Good," he said. "I was worried this would end too easily."

He glanced at Ada.

"Stay behind me."

Ada hesitated only a second before nodding.

Jack stepped forward, ice crunching beneath his boots.

Transformium particles stirred around him once more, reacting to his will.

Behind him, the helicopter finally stabilized, engines roaring.

Above him, the sky darkened.

Below him, the ice screamed.

Jack lifted his head, expression calm, voice steady.

"Red Queen," he said, "you really should have learned by now."

The weapons fired.

And the world exploded again.
