Bang!
The entire research base shook violently. Cracks spread everywhere, from the floor to the walls and up to the ceiling. Then, with a deafening boom, the whole structure collapsed. Dust covered the sky like a thick fog. The small hill that had hidden the base was completely shattered as well.
From the ruins, a gigantic figure slowly stood up. Its body was so huge that it looked like a small mountain itself. When it fully rose, it towered above the broken hill, blocking the light of the sky. The ground trembled under its weight, and deep cracks spread outward in all directions.
As the dust slowly settled, the giant's face became clear.
Everyone froze to see that this giant actually had facial features similar to Elder Henry, just a little twisted.
"Could it be...?"
Oliver couldn't help but recall Ethan's sudden transformation. This giant's situation seemed to be very similar to Ethan's. Perhaps, Elder Henry really did become a monster as well.
