The shadowy figure in the cave paused abruptly, then called out, a mix of joy and surprise in its voice.
"Doggy, it's me!" Big Black Cat, equally overjoyed, immediately opened his arms wide.
"Cat Brother!"
The shadow lunged from the cave, and the two figures embraced in a tight bear hug.
"This..." Su Wanyi, standing nearby, watched in surprise as the black-robed young man hugged Big Black Cat.
A potent Demonic Aura emanated from this young man. It was clear he was also a member of the Demon Clan. Judging by Big Black Cat's earlier address, this had to be a Dog Demon.
This Dog Demon was short and stout, with small eyes—a far cry from the dashing and debonair Big Black Cat. In fact, his appearance was remarkably similar to the shifty-eyed Sky-boring Rat.
"Haha, Doggy, fancy meeting you here!" Sky-boring Rat chimed in, sidling closer.
"Call me Dog Brother!" the black-robed young man retorted, stepping back and grumbling irritably.
