Guan Qing Bo couldn't help but wonder to himself, a hint of speechless amusement flickering in his sharp, urbane eyes. This guy... is really something else. Three words, and he's already stripped himself bare. Truly a man with no brakes on his tongue.

He forced a calm smile on his face, but internally, he was mildly stunned. Either this Jun Mo Xie is too bold for his own good… or he's playing a far deeper game than I anticipated.

"We've also heard about Spirit Fog Lake," Guan Qing Bo replied, his smile poised and tactful, his tone as even as calm waters. "In fact, we've already spent almost one-and-a-half days of our two-day stay here in Tian Xiang City there."

"Ah? So the brothers have good taste! Hahaha! Then I guess I'm not alone in this world!" Jun Mo Xie's face lit up like fireworks during a festival, a wide, unfiltered grin stretching across his face as he rubbed his hands together with glee. "So tell me! Was it the girls? The boys? Or both? Heh heh heh... no shame here, I've met all sorts in that heavenly little corner of pleasure!"

Guan Qing Bo's smile faltered for half a breath—an almost imperceptible break—before returning to its previous state of civility. A trace of red bloomed at the base of his neck, just enough to betray a flicker of discomfort, but his cultured demeanor didn't allow him to fumble.

"Not at all…" He began with a laugh that tried its best to sound free and easy. "We were actually there on... a business trip."

"Brother!" Guan Qing Yue suddenly interrupted, his tone sharp like a blade of ice. His eyes, which had previously been lowered, now rose and locked onto his elder brother's with a warning.

The brief exchange of glances between the two was quick but filled with tension, like sparks cracking from stone.

But Guan Qing Bo merely chuckled in response, brushing off the warning with a flick of his sleeve.

"Ha ha, Qing Yue, what are you so nervous about? A man must always be open and proud about his ways! If we live like we're hiding in shadows, then what kind of men are we? Besides," He turned his gaze back to Jun Mo Xie, eyes gleaming, "the third young master is practically family now, isn't he? We can speak plainly."

Jun Mo Xie smiled faintly and nodded, but inwardly his mind turned with sharp precision. Hmm... interesting. The elder wants to speak out, the younger wants to suppress. There's tension here. Could it be internal discord? Or is this elder brother trying to deliberately expose his own sibling? This smells like conflict... and I'm loving it.

"It's rather simple, really," Guan Qing Bo said lightly, lifting his cup and taking a slow sip. "My younger brother's confidant—let's just call her a very... close friend—resides in Spirit Fog Lake. That, naturally, was the core reason for our 'business trip.'"

His use of business was so casual, so elegant, and yet so obviously twisted in its implication that it could make a Confucian scholar choke on his tea. Even Jun Mo Xie had to silently praise the level of shamelessness hidden behind such cultured words.

What are you, a flesh trafficker?

"That's just what I thought!" Jun Mo Xie exclaimed with feigned enlightenment, snapping his fingers in a display of mock clarity. "Second brother is clearly a true romantic at heart, ha ha! But then again, aren't we all?"

His smile became even more sly, his eyes dancing with mischief. This little brother of yours has a lot to hide. Let's peel the layers off him slowly... very slowly...

"I bet the two of you haven't made as many friends in Spirit Fog Lake as I have," Jun Mo Xie whispered conspiratorially, lowering his voice to a husky tone only a man with experience could adopt. "No disrespect, of course. But I know the place inside and out. If you ever want a personal tour, I'd be honored. I've cultivated a few... connections there, you could say."

"Ha ha, well, this city is your home, and naturally you're more familiar with its pleasures than us," Guan Qing Bo replied, trying to match his tone. But there was a slight crack in his composure now—a hesitation, a misstep that betrayed an uneasy curiosity.

Jun Mo Xie leaned in even closer, his voice like silk laced with poison. "Why, I was even the one to open the flowery bud of the Ni Chang Pavilion's number one beauty—Yue'er. Ah, such a fine girl... that soft skin... her sweet, trembling voice when she—ah, forgive me. I'm getting carried away."

Guan Qing Yue, who had been silent so far, froze. His pupils shrank into pinpoints.

Jun Mo Xie continued, his face assuming an obscene glow of victorious indulgence. "Yue'er... truly a treasure among flowers. Let me tell you, her inner thigh has three little beauty marks, so close together they form a little triangle. And her back? Mmm, there's a tiny birthmark just beneath the shoulder blade. Her skin was like warm jade, smooth and delicate... and that waist oh ho..."

His voice dropped to a breathy whisper, filled with lecherous nostalgia. "And when she pressed those full breasts against my chest, whispering that she loved me... Ah, I nearly lost my mind. She told me she wasn't just selling her body, she wanted my heart! Can you imagine that? A prostitute, in love with me!"

He smirked, eyes half-lidded as he pretended to caress the air, his hands remembering soft curves that might have only existed in imagination. "I would've given her a mountain of silver, but she said, 'No... just stay with me...' So I did. For days and nights. I only left because I thought she was getting too attached... heh."

There was a moment of silence.

"That's enough!" Guan Qing Yue's voice exploded like thunder cracking across a storm-filled sky. His chair scraped back violently as he shot up to his feet, his face pale as ash and twisted with fury. His eyes burned with unspeakable rage, lips trembling from barely contained violence.

"You—Jun Mo Xie! You... you goddamn bastard! Shameless dog! You filthy swine!"

Gasps echoed through the hall like waves, and heads turned as the conversations stopped mid-sentence. The explosive nature of his outburst was so sudden, so jarring, it struck the heart of everyone present like a bolt of lightning.

Jun Mo Xie instinctively jerked back, widening his eyes in feigned confusion and fear, his expression the perfect image of a man caught off-guard. "You... what are you saying?"

He staggered slightly, knocking over a small porcelain cup. His shoulders tensed, and he looked around with a startled expression, putting on a show of someone falsely accused. "Why are you so angry, Second Brother? I was only speaking of a woman of the lake... What's it to you... unless...?"

He trailed off, his tone hinting, tempting, baiting...

The air in the hall was so tense it could be sliced with a blade.

Jun Wu Yi's brows knitted tightly in suspicion.

Guan Dong Liu's smile stiffened like frozen ice, and Guan Qing Bo turned pale.

And Guan Qing Yue?

His chest heaved like a man about to drown. Veins popped in his temples, and he opened his mouth again to curse again.
