Only a week had passed before Florelia's business community was thrown into turmoil once again.
This time, Alan Porter was the reason.
People were stunned when a post appeared on his verified account admitting that KANI had belonged to Alex's grandfather and acknowledging what he had done to take control of it. Even more shocking was the apology that followed—to Alex, Eliott, and Ethan—for the scandal he had created.
Within hours, Alan Porter's name was everywhere. Businessmen discussed it behind closed doors, entertainment accounts reposted it with breathless commentary, and fans of both Alex and Aria argued over every word.
Some were genuinely shocked. Others claimed they had known for years that something about the ownership of KANI had never been right. And those who already knew exactly how shameless Alan could be simply watched from a distance, wondering what had finally forced him to admit the truth out loud.
Eliott, however, was enjoying the show.
