Arthur stepped out of the gate into a powerful storm of dust and universal law energy.
He coated his body in a skin-tight layer of cosmic energy to protect himself from the swirling energy currents, walking a few steps forward before reaching an area where the concentration was lower.
"Sup", he said, raising a hand. "Sorry I'm late. The dream I was having was too good to let end so quickly."
At this, the man standing at the centre of the area with lowered energy concentration turned towards Arthur with a raised eyebrow and asked, "So I got kept waiting because of a dream?"
Arthur immediately nodded in response. "Yep."
The man shot Arthur a deadpan look, prompting him to shrug as he said, "What? Don't look at me like that. You've probably done worse to other people."
His words made the man shake his head lightly.
"You can be quite impudent when you want to be."
Hearing that, Arthur chuckled before asking, "Isn't that how kids are meant to be? Impudent."
