I went and took a bath in scorching water and wore the clothes I just bought. After me Sadayami went then Masuke. I sat with the briefcase that ED gave me. I opened it up and I saw a medium-size laptop it had no sort of branding or anything but that didn't bother me on opening the flap there keyboard was as usual but at the extreme right instead of the number pad, there were symbols, some symbols which didn't resemble any language at least none which I have ever seen like.
Someone rings the bell and it is Aashida I let her in grab her by the hand to bring her to the laptop in the other end of the room. By that time all the guys had already taken their bath and were just watching TV.
I showed her the laptop and said
"So this I have a strong feeling this laptop can do shit with ED."
"Oh ya you are gonna mess with his program? Won't he get to know someone is tweaking with him?" Aashida made some points, some points which was actually very valid.
"You just said it, you just gave away what I exactly have to do. Thank you!" I spoke
"Oh um sure no problem." She smiled and she leaned on my shoulder.
There was a file labeled "YOURMOM.EXE"
Without thinking it twice I knew this is the type of name I would give to an important program, so I clicked on it
and a UI came up. I showed a lot of information in an illustrative form
There was a robot and next to it was Status:- Active: click for description.
Rest all was complicated but 2 other things caught my attention
History, tasks
"You see these 2? These 2 are the things that will trick ED." I told Aashida
"Trust me go to memory now." She implied
I went to the memory section even though it seemed unimportant on going there was an option to disable memory from time to time
I entered the values of 1:00 to 2:30. Then I gave her a headpat for being calculated and helping me out with this plan
then I went to the history and tasks section, and some of the important options were written in code and could only be entered via code to change options.
"I got good news and bad news. The bad news is, you see this code? I can only change those values using code." I explained to her.
"You know some level of coding right? I mean you stole my wifi password." She asked
"Now that is the good news," I told her. She smiled at me and lay on my bed. She just had a very focused kinda goofy kinda mesmerized look in her eyes
"You bored of this?" I asked
"Not really but then just lying down," She told
It took me about half an hour and I had written the code. But to activate it was the sort of tricky part. I found a way to send this application to my laptop. From where ED would be a video game character, and my phone would be the controller.
"Dude!! We did it!! Now I need you to do something." I congratulated her and then explained to her that the first step of the plan was discussed we were all set for everything that was to come. We just watched TV played some games online and then ED came
He brought us Sushi and explained that in all the tourism we will try out new food all the time. So he said we need to be with an empty stomach before we go exploring. We all ate out food, it was already pretty late around 11:45.
"Sorry guys but you all better get some sleep now. We got a long day ahead of us and you all have been messing with time a lot" ED told us.
Everyone agreed. But I and Aashida were starting to see the plan go on track. Once ED left I followed him and asked
"Hey ED, don't you think we should all get some money? We will be in the country for what a week? So some cash will be handy eh?" I asked
"Brilliant thinking Tanyoka." He thanked me, pulled out his wallet, and handed me some cash "This is 6K Yen in total, so 1,200 each roughly translating to 4K Naira each. Thanks for reminding me of this. Good night!"
"Good night ED". I walked back and saw ED sitting in the hallway rest area or whatever they call it. It had a chair and ED was sitting there looking out. Once I was out of ED's sight.
I called Aashida and whispered " Come, bring our phones" and then I hung up. Aashida came walking slowly out of her room with such precision and stealth, definitely, she used her powers but this is remarkable.
She gave me my phone and stoop behind me. I used my phone to activate a program. This sent ED to sleep mode. It is practically similar if not exactly the same to how a human sleep, his eyes closed senses active but weakened. Like Sound and external temperature.
Aashida and I on our tiptoes silently proceeded to the elevator, once we got on there I used my phone again. This second part of the program stated that ED must find the nearest Electric generator and recharge the body he is in. This command wasn't all my work. The pieces were lying in ED's original code. I just had to copy-paste them and assemble them to use his code against him.
Aashida and I left the hotel we were in the busy section of the area, so we moved out a bit, It was cold, and our breaths gave out fog. While walking I accidentally touched Aashida's hand. I noticed it was really cold so held her hand and said
"Your hands are really cold. Are you sure you want to go out?" I asked out of concern
"Y-yes I want to go out with you." She said while stuttering, it wasn't the cold that caused the stuttering, this was her nervousness at play but I didn't think of it
In a short, while we reached a very calm and relaxing park, it was a public park I suppose but a very well maintained one. We went to the edge of the park, it was an open place and from the edge was a pond, we found a wooden bench there so we sat down to my right.
Aashida looked up at the sky and I did the same.
"the moon is beautiful, isn't it?" Aashida asked
"Reminds me of you," I answered, while it was a compliment I wasn't exaggerating, according to me Aashida is the personification of the moon.
She smiled but never looked at me or made eye contact that is usually what she does, I noticed her cheeks turning red
"Are you blushing right now?" I asked
"No no it is nothing like that. I am fine" She said again, without looking at me
"Look me in the eyes" I ordered her she was hiding something I knew it.
She nodded side to decline
I wrapped my arm around her and brought her close to me, she was sitting stiffly, so I tried to comfort her and told "Come here you, now tell me what happened."
"This is everything I can ask for" She whispered very softly almost inaudible
"Huh," I asked.
"I- umm. I Need to get something out of my chest." She said looking at me
"And I need to see your che-, I mean go on I am all ears." I joked around
"Right," She said making a mad face, but she was taking in the joke she wasn't actually mad. "See um for a while now I have been thinking about us." She went ahead and spoke about whatever she wanted to speak about.
"Don't worry I know all of this is a very new thing, but then we will be good don't worry ok?" I comforted her because I think she was worried about what would happen once we reach ART.
"DUDE! not that! Take the hint!" She said
"I don't know what you are talking about," I replied out of confusion
She took a deep breath "I am sorry, I am being too pushy. We will try this next time." She calmed herself and went back to lying on my shoulder, and within seconds she and I both were sound asleep in the cold night with silence and ourselves to hold on to
