Xuanwu looked at the Golden Crow.
It knew the Golden Crow was much younger than it.
After all, few beings on the Wangu Continent were older than it was.
But it never expected the Golden Crow to have only just been born.
And it had just gotten into a fight with a newborn.
'How embarrassing.'
Xuanwu's gaze flickered, and it looked away.
Su Ye added,
"You two should try not to fight. If you absolutely must, stay far away from those seeds."
After Su Ye finished speaking, Xuanwu submerged itself in the water again and replied,
"Alright."
By the time Su Ye left her space, the sky outside was already a dim, pre-dawn gray.
The entire convoy was resting where they had stopped, so she walked out from the woods and approached the carriage.
But as soon as she lifted the curtain, a well-defined hand yanked her inside.
She fell right into the person's arms.
A familiar scent filled her senses, and a low, gentle voice sounded from above her head.
"Where did my Benefactor go?"
