Beneath the setting sun, two figures gazed at each other from a distance.
Su Qing approached at a slow, unhurried pace.
Su Ye's gaze fell to his snake tail. Clearly, they had already been to the Holy Land.
But his snake tail didn't seem to have changed at all.
Just as this thought crossed her mind, she heard Su Qing's voice from above.
"Why did you come out, Benefactor?"
As he spoke, he reached out to take Su Ye's hand.
She paused.
"Did you drink the Holy Water?"
Su Qing lowered his gaze, a baleful energy churning in his crimson eyes.
"Mm."
He grunted in reply.
She studied his expression.
"It looks like your tail wasn't repaired."
Su Qing grunted again.
"Mm."
After his reply, he swept Su Ye into his arms, lowering his gaze.
"How long have you been awake, Benefactor?"
Su Ye replied,
"I've been waiting for you all day."
A smile touched his crimson lips as he placed a soft kiss on her cheek.
"Did you miss me, Benefactor?"
