The birds chirped merrily outside of the bedroom window. Hella was lazily tracing her fingertips along Lance's bare chest as he spoke to her about his childhood and learning the way of the land. Hella was a being of dark magic, and for a time that was all she had trusted in. She needed no evidence of other sources. She enjoyed the power and fear it seemed to strike in the hearts of humans and angels.
