Clancy could tell her feelings for the General were becoming stronger, even within the last few days. Hella had told her to embrace this new beginning in her life. She found herelf wondering where Hella had gotten herself off to and if that knight she was in love with had done right by her at last night's ball. She had observed over the years how love could turn one angry and resentful. She hoped that wasn't the case. She had grown quite fond of Hella. She was able to recognize the goodness in her and her ability to be loyal to Betrice and Beleth. Though she had felt bad for turning them away she knew it had the right thing to do.
