#28 Chronological Disorder
WHEN sun rises the next day, Padre Salvi felt somehow better, so he decided to come back in the parish church—yes, that's better—but before he leave, unfortunately, he ate breakfast with us.
"Please feel comfortable in our home, Padre," CT said, smiling from ear to ear. AI too is smiling from ear to ear, and I can see the feeling of uneasiness based on her actions. She kept on playing with her nails.
"Muchas gracias, Tiago," Salvi grinned. I feel like he wasn't genuinely thanking CT. I started to eat our pancit canton breakfast, however, this Padre disturbed me, the reason why I wasn't able to put the fork in my mouth, that left my mouth opened, "Binibining Maria Clara, thank you for helping me in that beach. If it weren't for your help, I am quite sure that I am in my burial now."
