Jiang Nan's gaze flickered. Seeing how surprised she looked, he knew she really had seen him just now. Was that why she'd been so startled she forgot to move out of the way, almost getting hit by the car.
"Yeah, just a couple of drags, I'm not addicted." Jiang Nan shoved both hands in his pockets and answered honestly.
As the words fell, seeing her dazed look, he frowned, reached out and pressed down on her little head. "A man smoking, is it really that surprising?"
From how scared she looked, it was like he'd done something unbelievable.
He normally really didn't smoke, only when he was particularly annoyed he'd have one. Who knew she'd happen to see it.
If he'd known she would come to the parking lot, he wouldn't have smoked in front of her.
